    i have had a AAS410 and a HW100K but nothing comes near my RIPLEY AR5s for consisted accuracy,have any other members owned or used a RIPLEY for hunting.

    when i do thick hedges with the longnets i also do the top and bottom runs with purse nets and any holes i can get to,to limit the rabbits running from hole to hole and up and down the hedge.

    i havent been a member of THL long,but been hunting for years,every post i have seen from fellow ferreters makes me green with envy.every pic i see is of ground sets i cant remember the last ground set i done,all my life i have done hedges and not clear hedges brambles,blackthorn nettles eveything,when i come home from a days ferreting i have cuts and stings everywhere,i am picking thorns out of my hands and legs days later just as they are going septic but i love it,i am thinking of going further afield to ask some for some new permission like up the preseli mountains.you guys are so lucky so

    there is a law that says if vermin are causing dammage on your land you can go on any land except MOD land to catch that vermin,we had that problem down here,when a local farmer had rabbits coming onto his land from a caravan park the caravan park owner objected to the rabbits being harmed,farmer contacted his solicitor and he contacted a local pest controller who went on the caravan park and sorted the rabbits out.

    by law the other land owner can not stop you going on there land if rabbits are coming onto your land and causing damage,but just check with your local police before you take any action dont want to get you in any bother,but its right
