Trying to trace a dog pup that was given as payment about 3 yrs ago for a mating. I used a Gould bred black dog on a bitch about 3 yrs ago. I think the lad who owned it was terrierman for the sennybridge but not sure, think his name was darrant and the dog was called chuck. Trying to find out if the pup is still about and how it turned out. I believe the father of it was bred by Kelly from Barnsley and went via Joe Murphy to the lad in south wales. Any info would be much appreciated.

Spoke to him mate but no joy. The dog was only bred once to an unknown bitch and the young bitch was never bred before she died. Cheers for the help mate.

Performance is the most important and the paper helps you keep it going. Random dog to random bitch may produce a litter of fantastic workers or a load of crap, how do you know why ? Do you write the bitch off, do you write the dog off, was there something in the make up of both, that put together just didn't work but put to something else both could produce top class, who knows ! At least if you know the bloodlines, you have a chance to sort the problems out.

Trouble is mate you don't know the full breeding of the dog. Certain things in gouldy stuff you wouldn't want to double up on.

I was down in Plymouth about 10 years ago picking up a lurcher and the lad had a pup from you, i didn't ask how it was bred, he also had a black and tan dog, gouldy bred. They are still about, depends if people have crossed them with other stuff, over the years.

I am after the old stuff that a few lads have kept going, dont think ken has that anymore, alot went to the states but a few boys have kept them going.

A mate of mine has a black bitch about 12 months old he got her from a lad who has been doing some skinning for a hunt in the cotswolds area, the lads name is Paul. D. I am just after some info on the bitch if anybody knows, she looks like a nice sort, just wondered if anybody knows who bred her. PM with any details, cheers.
