    My little brother lost most of his trigger finger in an accident when he was a kid.....and it never slowed him down any when it came to shooting with his middle finger.....the only issue he has is that if the trigger guard catches the stump when the gun recoils, it does tend to cut open the thinner skin that he has on the damaged end.

    I agree, grab it and it should do every thing you want it to. Rust outside the barrel, looks bad but it won't affect the guns performance. Rust inside the barrel will be blown out with the first pellet. Some gun oil and a rag always makes a rusty old gun look better, and if its real bad, use a bit of very fine wire wool and gun oil to take off the roughness (Take off as little as you can get away with). Then start on a few targets and take it from there.

    OK......I know I am going to get abuse but here goes.....My name is David and I have a problem.....I have been a technology teacher for 18 years. I work in a tough inner city school, that has a lot of low achieving kids in it.....I concentrate on giving the kids skills...Old school style, which they love......but there is a lot less making than there was 30 years ago.......All my kids make boxes.....tool boxes....base boxes..jewellery boxes, and some go on to make stools or tables...and we even do some metal work. 30 years ago, kids could do O level wood and O level metal.....that would b

    A bit late writing this, but here goes....Woodcock like snipe empty their guts on take off....The traditional way to eat both is to pluck them and push the long beak through the thighs....place on a large piece of bread and roast at 200 degrees c for 30-35 mins....and then eat the guts and the brains too. The bread is the best bit as it gets toasted and it soaks up all the juices. I have done it both ways but I prefer to take out the guts and remove the head....otherwise the intestines spill out over the toast as you start hacking off the breast meat.....and I have never fancied eating them

    In my opinion, over the next twenty years we will see:- a total ban on shooting with Lead. Licensing for air guns. Ban on rearing game to be shot. We can delay them, but coming they surely are......but with reference to licensing air guns.....I believe that the politicians must be seen doing something...anything.... as long as they are seen to be hard on gun crime.......whether it makes any sense or not...... Whilst we are comfortable with guns and gun law most of the UK population have no knowledge about guns and shooting.....If I am going to use a starting pistol in school, we hav

    Boiling water and a water soluble gun oil like "Rangoon" or "Youngs 303" was the way people used to clean out barrels in the days of Black Powder. That stuff was so corrosive, because acids would form in the deposits.....scrubbing the barrels out with a phosphor bronze brush and hot oily water, removed all the acid. I think I remember reading instructions on how to do it printed on an old oil can!
