    alrite mate, no i got quite a lot of permission but the estates i go to arnt holding many rats, so im just asking about because i got a pup thats 5 mounths now so it would be nice to have a few new places for next season to bring him on, plus the other 4 dogs we work ok mate.     Do you have to SHOUT all the time? The best bait to use will depend on the circumstances. Where are you trying to catch them, and what are they eating? Cage traps are more difficult to use because of the neophobic reaction of rats. Have a look at the 'best baits' thread in the FAQ section above. A 16 year old can have all the relevant qualifications, but with no driving licence will be unemployable in the pest control industry, and will not be allowed onto a lot of commercial sites.
