    The thing I like about a good hob is when your working big sandy tubs they don't seem to get the run about so much as the Jill's ... I did only work Jill's at one point ... Until they got the run around for a good wile in a sandy set .. You could feel the rumble under your feet rabbits running around like f--k ... But not one bolted.. ferrets just couldn't get hold of them ... And these two Jill were good working ferrets .. That just put me off a bit ...you should still get afew digs to a working Jill couse they can kill quick once they no how ... Atb

    Thought I'd try my young hob out today ..one I kept back from my litter..he's only 5 1/2 month old .. But a big boy .. Found a nice set what hold a couple .. I put him down gave it 10mins he hadn't shown . So I grabbed the locator found him 3ft dug down rabbit dead .. Found him again 3 1/2 ft dug to him again 1 dead and he was putting manners on another lol .. And bolted 1 so he done very well for a first time and on his own.. Atb

    nice, I know colour doesnt matter once they work.With the dirty dark ditches I do it helps if the ferret is a light colour. The old eyes arent as good as theynused to be It do help when your working cover.. They stand out a lot more ... Atb

    We're are the pictures of these huge bags of rabbits and speed lamping.. What have been cought on winter wheat ... Jan / Feb time .. You don't see them...... To me it proves that the rabbits go a lot better... The ground is a lot more unforgiving on the dog and you will find your dog working twice as hard each run ...

    This is what we used the first time for the crack ..before we got the quickset ... Nighteyes took his 25yd stop net and I took a 5yd and 10yd so that gave us 40yd of net... We missed a lot more than we got lol.. But it was something we had never done ...walked miles that night ... Nighteyes got 6 and I got 3 .. Atb

    There's a few about but we did put in the time and craft .....Walk for miles to find them..we might get 3 to 6 in one spot and then walk 2 mile to the next spot......it's very hit and miss really

    Me and nighteyes went out the other night to try the longnets out ... We are still getting to grips with it lol but we did not do to bad .... Thanks for looking atb
