    Hi ya, Got spot checked the erly part of last season. Caurt me red handed, lamp, dog and a foot well full of rabbits. All they said was, 'where are you going now' asked me abit about what i'd been doing. I told them about the benifits of recall training at night LOL. he radioed through to check the car out and told me to go home. I waited 5 minuits and lamped the field next to where I'd been pulled and baged two more. I would'nt advise this aproch to I don't give a kcuf but they did'nt have a clue.

    well done SKA (glen), Now what you gona do with all that spar time. I'd start ploting the schooling of ya red merl. something I do is register on the Kennel clubs good citizenship scheam, both my dogs have achived the silver awared and "BEAU" the sire to the pups will be trying for his gold starting october. I belive it's a must to socialise your dog's and this has a dobble wammy cus it gets the pup to be able to consentrate on you while there is other dog about barking and runing around. belive me it can make all the differance to the dogs training if your dog learns to concentrate on you fr

    fur looked ok.the eyes were really bad.dont think its had it that long.its the first sign of mixy this year. dont worry about it mate the dog should be fine cheers.thats what i wanted to hear.all adds to the tension of bringing on a pup i spose.gunna be doin backflips when she nails her first one. hi ya mate, it still sends a shiver down my back just thinking about seeing the first catch.     Everybody's entitled to there own oppinion about the right age to breed a dog and no, your right it is quite early to take a litter off him but my bitch was the perfect age and as I know where and what lines the sire is from it made sence to me to use a dog that would be around me for the rest of his life. These are my dogs and I would like to breed a family of working lurchers around them. I used to keep racing pigeons and the key to my sucsess was knowing my lines and what to look for in selecting the right ones to keep.     Hi ya, thanks mate he's doing me proud at the moment. I've been training him of the lead and his obediece is starting to show now. Here's a few more pic's (don't ya just love pups) there now 3 weeks. Oh, by the way the first pup in the prevous pic's is a dog but he's already been reserved, they've called him "BUZZ" and he's the bigest in the litter.

    Pup,s will be ready last week in august, both parents can be seen and both are workers. SIRE Collie/greyhound 2nd x (26.5") 16 months old DAM Collie/greyhound x Whippet (22") 36 months old There are 3 bitches and 4 dogs, Bargin at £175.00 If you are intrested PM me and i'll answer any questions you might have.

    Thanks MUSH, the pups are coming on a treat. we've gone with lactol as i needed it quikly and the pups are loveing it. Sadly the bitch an't doing so well thou and to top it off we are both knackerd.

    Firstly most vets are not expert regarding the breeding and rearing of puppies, their expertise is diagnosing illness. I had a bitch with severe mastitis on very strong antibiotics,a nd she continued to fee the pups, though they didn't; gain weight quite as well that week, soon made it up. As long as the bitch is prescribed safe antibiotics then she can carry on feeding the pups. If she has a temperature this may affect milk production, so you need to weight the puppies and the bitch must have lots of fluids. if feeding dry food soak it to a mush, to get liquids into her and also
