  3. hello mate.i have an old mk1 collar and box which does the job,but the new mk 3's are also good. as for nets,i use either hemp nets or a heavy nylon net.you can get the thin 4 or 6 z nylon nets but they tend to tangle quite a bit and are rather fiddly on cold days depending on the size of the warrens you are working and there where abouts it might also be advisable to think about getting a couple of long nets . you will need a decent quality spade as digging rabbits out of setts will more than likely happen if the ferret decides to kill to ground or backs the rabits into a stop end ,also a

  5. Hi folk's, my name is danny downs.I have been around racing pigeons and dogs all my life and have loved every minute of it. Two years ago i got my first lurcher, she is a whippet x collie/greyhound from my brother who has been in the game for around 20 years. I have recently purchased another pup from J Hancock of Telford, he is a collie x greyhound 2nd cross and an absolute cracker. After being very succesfull with my first bitch who now catches bunnys and otherthings for fun and with the prospect of my new pup i have decided to have a go at ferreting and would like to get an overall veiw of
  6. Does anyone have any advice or ideas on the best way to approach a landowner to gain their permisson for ferreting. As i have already approached several farmers and haven't had any joy yet.
