    hi guys me and my father went pigeon shooting yesterday met the farmer who showed the fieald he wanted us to shoot plenty pigeons it looked like being a good day we got set up half an hour later me dad rang me to say that two people were saying that he was to close to the foot path that runs through the middle of the fieald and they had called the police so i went up to him and after waiting 45 minuits expecting armed response and chopper one police officer appered and asked us if these people was giving us eny problems we said no she then asked if my father would mind moving abit to

    i thought i would share this with all you pike anglers i have been pike fishing for 12 years now and for years have been landing pike by hand when the hooks are not all in the mouth to safe guard the fish from getting tangled in the net without the use of a glove and on my last trip had a 16 lb fish came to hand and when i lifted it out of the water and gess what there was snap tackle still in the mouth and now in my fingers lucklery my mate was with me and un hooked the fish un fortunatly had hook in finger still fish was ok spent 4 hours in a&e to remove the hook so please use glov

    hi mate just a bit more advice on unhooking pike if enyone suggests using one of those gags they are like a v shaped spring for opining the pikes mouth dont use one as they can send the fish mad and get you in a real mess. just lay the pike on its back on the mat and gently slide your fingers up the gills till you touch the jaw bone just mind the delicate red gill rakers use a glove if you wish then lift the bottom jaw it will not be able to close its mouth then you can see where the hooks are and remove them. but as has already been said best to go with experinced pike anglers un till yo

    hi all i have a 20 week old patterdale bitch and she is a very quick lerner at every thing but i can not get her to stop messing in the house at night during the day she is fine becuse we can let her out plenty but despite not letting her eat late and takeing her out before bed she still makes a mess mabey i am expecting to much i dont know but eny tips would be very helpfull as the wife says if she does not stop she will have to go witch is a shame as i could not wish for a better pup

    hi all can enyone please help i have been on holiday for a week and when i came back one of my ferrets has changed colour and has got thinner in fact i did not recconise her at first only by her temprement then i knew it was her what could have cused this and has enyone else experienced this type of thing

    i wouldnent worry to much as the dog 9 times out of ten will spit out eny foren objects in their food and the meat should not carry to mutch shot to ca7use probs i have been feeding my dogs and ferrets on shot game for ages and no probs

    hi i am thinking of getting a patterdale terrier and i have found one free to a good home 12 weeks old but it has had no vacsinations yet i have a lab alredy my mate said that i should not keep the pup in the house as it could catch parvo is this true if so what can i do many thanks

    hi all i have been offerd two ferrets they are 2 years old and what i can tell they have not been handled much as they are biters and do not want to be touched just wonder if they can be made to work or should i steer clear of them if this is possible is there eny advice on how to turn them around i have working ferrets my self and thought if i put them to work with one of them would that be a good start after i try to get them used to being handled eny sergestions welcom please atb bob
