  5. always tell the truth of your terriers abiltys, people who choose to lie about there dogs abilitys are only liying to them selves, how many lads over the years have come to me saying this dog that and this dog that, only for me to acompany them on a day out and quickly realize far from them having a great dog they dont evan have a ever day worker,my findings are talks cheap and liyers and baloons soon get found out in the terrier game !!
  6. fantastic stamps you got there top terrier !!
  7. i have had many deep digs by that a mean over the 8 foot mark but i am with what darcy said to me its more to doo with what type of material you are digging through, after 8 foot it dosent matter because your already in well over your head and into the danger zone, one dig to my old dog still stands out all these years later it was 8 to 9 foot and took me and my old mentor 5 hard hours of none stop digging without all the correct digging tools, but we eventually opend up to the old dog and the feeling was awsome great dig and great dog, some lads on here should know the place its called stone and
  8. if this 6 year old dog is the only link to the old dog you think so much of go for it,you also say the bitch was a solid digging dog so with that knowledge a would go for it and run a couple on try them and as some one said earlyer in the post if it didnt work you have only wasted your own time, but if the parents were as good as you say you should be okay but also as some one said earlyer nothing is guaranteed from any mating ,whats hapend is the circumstances have left you this the only route back to the old dog !!

  14. when a was younger and had my old dog and he was worked hard and often he always wanted cleaning and sorting and belive me we wernt talking scratches,he wasnt an over hard dog but could get stuck in if he had too,any way back then a had no money and the old dog worked till he was over 10 years old,all a used was the salt water job and occasionally if he was real bad a got him a shot of penacillin, cotton wool bubs n cleaned 4 times a with salt water then under the heat lamp always did the trick !!
  15. The only problem with that is the rifles have already shot dad, uncle and aunties, they don't stop at one they eliminate every fox they see. I have hunted over 30 years and in the last 6 years the rifles have wiped the places out. Driving around shooting off the back of pickups, off the roads they shot 26 foxes in one nights outing, that's not control, that's the numbers game. "Trigger happy look what I shot". i had already started a post about this on another site ,bullitt lamp men at night destroying the fox digging job ,thats whats hapning around me,am like old nog worked these part
