    I second the b&q garden canes. much better than extendable ones plus much cheaper. I just use a self locking nut and a couple of washers for the join and it works great.

    Did you try appealing the decision? My mate had pretty much the same thing, wrote a letter, went in and grovelled a bit promised to do pass plus etc and got it reversed. always worth a try! p.s whereabouts in perthshire are you I've got a fair few shoots around perth?

    Normark Filleting knife 4 inch blade 8 inches overall with "dangler" sheath. Slight scuffing on the sheath. I've never actually used the knife properly, it's still razor sharp and can literally be used to shave. Cost me £45 new £20 posted, over 18s only etc. Hope I have put this in the right section.     Has anyone got any experience with the shepherd 1 shot zero scopes? They seem like a good idea in theory but I haven't met anyone using one yet.

    So he's got sheep on land thats not his? I wouldn't recommend shooting them, tell him if he doesn't want the sheep I'll have them, I'll bring round the sheepdogs asap. How many is there approx? If it's really Sh*tting things up you could always try the national sheep association or NFU.

    Does anyone know where i can get one of the trumpet style red deer roarers like they use over in New Zealand? I've searched the internet but all I can find is the telescpoic straight ones. Any ideas would be great! Thanks very much.

    I know it's a long shot but I'm looking for to do some wild boar/pig shooting somewhere! I was all set up to work on a farm over in france and do a bit of shooting on the guys farm whilst over there but thats fallen through, can't even get hold of the guy anymore so i thought I'd give it a try on the board. If anyone's up for a swap then I have a fair bit of roe deer shooting available- photos in the deer section- or if anyone knows of any good agents!     nah he wasn't six points, the antlers weren't actually too great, looked like they had taken a bit of damage, I was still going to preserve the skull until dad's retreiver decded to use it as a chew toy!

    Finally got my first roe buck of the season after a quick trip out last night I didn't hold out much hope of seeing anything, but on the walk home I spotted this in one of the clover fields, hit the deck as soon as I saw it, crawled up to within a hudred yards and took the shot dropping it on the spot!

    I did my d of e through my cadet force- great fun, it counts as your service and residential, so instead of spending every weekend in a charity shop and a week in a depressing hospice we got to go on army ranges with SA80s, GPMGs, parker hale m80s, do blank firing exercises, night ambushes, and spend the rest of the time doing adventure training! great fun and definetly worth a go!
