    Derbylad IMO it's a very fine line in a lurcher between having it biddable and doing things right yet having it "thick" enough to go out there time after time,run after run with no thought of ever saying "feck this" ..jackers and such are far more likely to come from lurcher x lurcher breeding than a Greyhound blooded dog of that there can be no question?     Here's a wee yarn...True as it comes is this! In the early 's Vic had a motorcycle and sidecar in which he would put Blue and off they would go,if they managed to pull a beastie then it was left to be collected as obviously there was no room with having Blue in there! He used to put the catch in the sidecar and any rabbits,hares in the bottom and he would prop the beastie up and put a crash helmet on it!!     I WAS there mate 100%..exact same place where Jack covered Flash ..i think he/they was/were miffed because we had the last of the REAL close blood to Minshaw's Blue,our's were grandson's via both parents and great grandson's through Cora's dam Kes...good blood for certain,tried,tested and then some..Minshaw's Blue in them 3 times not bad for all those years later
