Just trying to find out if anyone has used or ownes a BSA laser genetics ND-3 OR 5. Have found a load of wishy washy american sales bull shit but no decent independant field test vids or reviews. thoughts on its usability and cost Cheers Tony

Fair comment mate she went in a big hole in the wall and was well past my arms reach lol didn't fancy taking down a drystone wall to dig her out!! I am finding it hard to find .17 mach 2 rifles. Most manufacturers dont seem to be backing the round that much. So far i have come up with 1: Sako Quad 2: CZ America and varmint the sako is where i am starting to lean towards as i would get a .22lr in good condition secondhand and buy a new .17 Mach 2 barrel for it then if the round does become discontinued then i haven't got a rifle that cant be used. however i have been told bad things about the Sako and this draws be back towards the everfaithful CZ. I dont understand why .17Mach 2 has not taken off it will do everything t

I don't believe in it myself but over here people are banging fox with .17hmr it will do the job but there is alot of room for error in my book its just not the done thing .22 hornet min for me!!!!!! in a nut shell i am saying that .17 hmr will do both rabbit and fox but its not my idea of a foxing cal. Just for the record i know she has a long tail lol!!! she was my wifes dog at first that didn't last long when i found how naturally she took to the job. one of the best thinkers i have seen a little head strong at times but a good dog to work with.

Well i think it went ok!!! got the third degree but i was expecting that anyhow. he didn't say yes but he did say that he was going to put a mentor condition on my .223 section i thought that was fair enought considering i have no center fire experiance. so if he is putting a condition on it!!! i wouldn't have thought he would say that if he were going to refuse me. just the land check to do so i hope thats ok then all should be good with a bit of luck. Does anyone know of any basics books for living off the land? i have been finding it hard to find edible fungi these days i assume its because of the herbicides they use on the land, also can you grow mushrooms of your own and sustain them if you have spores to start off with?

i think that your advice is the best to be spread to others. we are in unknown territory and everyone will have to experiment to find what works best for the area you are in. i think we all need to start making notes on numbers and sizes to gain a better idea if how breeding is being affected. this goes for all other animals in the eco system. coz conservation may become a big subject in all areas in not to distant a future.
