Mine all go off the lead 'in public', which is to say when there's other people and dogs around: on playing fields, common land etc. How can you teach a recall if the pup is never let off the lead when it is growing up? Every man to his own. .Would never let my dogs of the lead in public at any time. For someone who claims to have super trained dogs that have the ability to not chase quarry on your command when off lead doubled up I would of thought you would of had them doing back flips for the Jo public.   12. Look at the lads post.WE can all get a dog to fetch toys.Its keeping it interested.Thats a bit harder.Its trial and error and early dead drops have always worked for me.
  13. If a young dogs doing well on the dummyl there is no harm trying a dead drop.
