Know a lad who bought one. Spent hundreds in vet bills within the week of taking it home due to health issues!!!! Dog didn't turn out to good either, now just a family pet.

I run a neutered bitch and makes no difference when she is fit, although it is alot harder to keep her in shape, I am feeding her a special food with absolutly no fat but a high protien which helps but she still needs a lot more exercise. She has been laid up for a few weeks now with injury and even with the diet food she has piled on the pounds!!! Not looking forward to getting it off her ATB

Is the box working -
It depends did the vet just cut the nails right back to the root (under anthesetic) if yes there is always a change the claws will regrow or did the amputate the full dew claw toe. My bitch has just had to have her dew claws removed bones so I opted for the full toe removal as there is no chance of re-groth. I will say this has been a major op and its very difficult to get these wounds to heal as she has 4 inch cuts on both legs and obvioulsy has to use these every day. She is still fully bandaged up after over a week and is at the vets evry 3 days for bandage changes. My advice to any one is

Hiya Yeah have realised that now stupid thing of me to do was get him but when some one is carrying a 6 week old pup round the streets its hard to say no. I did rehome him straight away as I knew I couldn't keep him but ended up with him back as don't want this little fella passed from place to place so when the forever!! home could no longer keep him I gladly took him back, now though it is unfair on the dog as he is not gettin the work and excercise he needs so looking for a really good home. Thanks

Hi I have a one year old papered plummer dog, it breaks my heart typing this but I'm trying to see if there would be any one out there willing to give this dog a permanant home (free). At the minute he will not be going as I said this will be a very hard decision for me to make (just making a few enquiries to see if there would be a suitable home as he will not be going to just any one sorry). The dog has not seen any real graft but has been out bushin a few times and is very keen on getting into to warrens and screamin, hench why he is no good to me as i need something to go in and come o

Hi I have just started taking my 18 month dog out for his first full season after getting him built up and ready for some nights running. First signs seem quite promising although seems to be having a few difficulties when there isnt anything moving in the lamp or he doesnt have a perfect view, hoping this will come with a little more experiance though. Just wondered how other peoples young ones where getting on and if anyone has any tips on how to get the best out of them as I don't want to spoil something that seems to be going well. Thanks

Hi I have a 24inch dog who at the minute is a little to fast and powerful for his own good, seems to think the faster he runs and the harder he hits his quarry the better!!!( which it isnt when he ends up head over tail) Hopefully he will learn to chill out a little as he has no problem with catching up to things. On the other hand a have his mum who is just under 22inch and has a heart like a lion and does pretty much anything I ask of her and deffinately makes up for her size and speed with determination. As people have said its not so much the size of the dog but the size of there heart

Thanks Mine is living with my gills but they are still in season how long does it usually take for them to come out?
-
Hi I just wondered if any one knows if a vasectomised hob ferret actually works at bringing gills out of season? Thanks

very nice looking dog

thanks for the replies i have stopped taking him out to any places i think might hold bunnies, if he chases during the day he is starting to yap after them. In every other way I cant fault him very responsive and quick to learn just can't wait to see how he goes when he is mature (lets hope it's minus the voice).

Hi I have an 8 1/2 month pup which I bred (Dam: Bedlington Whippet Sire: Collie Greyhound) mum I own and can not fault her as a working dog for my needs and never makes a sound when running well not usually!! Dad is silent as a mouse. I have started taking this pup out for walks during the day and he has caught a few bunnies that have broken cover, the problem is he is a loud mouth and tends to bark alot when playing and when watching another dog on the lamp. Any tips on how to get him out of this habit before he is ready to work?? Thanks
