  2. nice mate looks like the ground is hard though well said mate, if you value your dogs toes and wrist dont run them on heavy hard ground lads, its common sense...
  3. Leverets my friend, month or so time they will be about...
  4. i beg to differ, ive got a 3 year old Patterdale dog that works very well with my ferrets, marks up works te bury off the lead, and doesnt fight with any other dog working. Must admit, don't let my own experience of a large over- violent russel dog sway your judgement in any way, shape or form. (he's a pig full stop, but a thorough pig at that!) A well said terrier is priceless for marking, but thats where it ends. Average lurchers bring more to the table to be honest, and thats from somebody who loves the ability of a terrier. totally agree, i would chose a lurcher everytim
  5. Good advice, keep at it with the retrieving with the dummy... catching squatters usually comes with experince mate..

  7. i would aslo like some info on the minshaw line. ive got a pup line bred from Chipper smiths Keira & bob, bred back to blue....
  8. Throughout the year there are diffent influxes of Mixi, usually caused by temperature increase.. helping the parasites that transmitt the disease easier to breed. this warm weather we had recently wouldnt of helped. ATB Nocturnal Hunter
  9. ??? never heard of that one.. there usally called failed digging dogs! and get sold as bushing teriers... a good Bushing terrier that hunts any cover is worth its weight in gold..
  10. Good advice... but if it still persists get a Ant-Bark collar.. they have always worked for me.
  11. hi everyone, im from rural staffordshire, i am fanatical about luchers and running dogs, i have been for over 10 years, i also work patterdale terriers to the proper quarry! ATB Nocturnal Hunter
