he'd have no fingers left if he tried to take it out, if there not in use it for target practice i pointed out that speedy about the bulb being hot , its a real pain though totally lighting up the back of the house , i suppose theres a chance the bulb will burn its self out

My Neighbours have gone away & theres an outside halogen light been running for 2 days & nights now & at night its shining in my lads room & he cant sleep , they have no animals so its unlikely that anyone will call at the house in the week to feed anything Do i push a note through the door on the off chance someone does pop in Do i let my husband get in the garden & take the bulb out I am not keen on the latter but he is chomping at the bit

well if the ferret gets caught up in some roots or something you start digging I said if you lost the ferret, ie if it got away from the burrow without been seen, the collars not much good if your 500 metres away so whats that got to do with wearing a muzzle ?

Lets say you put one on a ferret you lose this ferret while you are out, that ferret can no longer feed its self so it starves to death Lets say you have a normal collar on, and you lose your ferret. it then gets a a big twig or root under the collar, so its trapped and cant get off. it would stave to. Not much of a excuse not to use them as and when required you wouldnt use a normal collar though would you ?

Well i dont like muzzles on ferrets & cant really think why they would need to be used , but having said that its better than the brass rings stitched to the ferrets lips that method was used donkeys yrs ago

Dave even you would have a good hair day with these They'd have to be real good, i've a 3 guard over mine now. Lot less hassle in the wind. saved yourself 100 quid then

Totally agree no amount of homechecking & follow up checks guarantees the animal is going to be looked after, peoples circs change , they move so unless you all live toegther then how can you possibly know whats going on All anyone can do when homing ferrets is go with your initial gut reaction & common sence

My mom popped in today with my brothers girls as she was looking after them in the school holidays , so i was a little wary of Madge as she hasnt encountered small children here before, she was a perfect lady, she came out of her crate & greeted them with a waggy tail The kids dont have a dog at home so were a little wary at first & madge is probably the biggest dog they have seen up close , so could possibly have been a little intimidating to them, but i needent have worried she simply got back in her crate when she had said hello & promptly went to sleep amongst the gene
