you dont need to interbreedthe best way to get around it is to line breed. Line breeding is when the sire and the dam are distantly related: e.g., grandsire to granddaughter, granddam to grandson, second cousins, half cousins, uncle to niece, aunt to nephew..... The general strategy is that there is a common ancestor that is being doubled up on both sides. So the desired dog appears several times in the pedigree. was talking to a bloke with a couple of dogs taught me one or 2 things lol

right here we go lol good breeder will have a basic understanding of the science of genetics. Everything about your prospective puppies-health, soundness, looks, temperament-will be determined by the genes passed on by their parents, and by their parents before them. Therefore, the selection of a mating pair should not be made on the basis of the dog's or bitch's looks (or temperament, or soundness, and so forth) alone, but should be based on an understanding of how the animal's genes contributed to its looks, and of how those genes are passed on and expressed. That is why it is essential to

it has got to do something with the genes i.e if you had a mom and dad with ginger hair there is a good chance that you will end up with ginger hair(sorry for the example)this is passed though the genes. if you have 2 good dogs there is a chance that the pups will come out the same way

that dog looks just like one i saw at york hunt on boxingday is it the same dog ??????and like people say mate he might be doing well .and i must admitt he looks well ..even better with a bit more work.... but hes hardly proven no matter how many hes had .....at least another couple of seaons before you get a provern dog ........and they will be better pups and stronger in another couple of seasons ...... im a bit confused !! why will the pups be better and stronger in a couple of seasons??whats time got to do with it if this dog turns out to be world class or not the pups will still be br

i agree 30 foxes is alot but i should think is it has had 30+ foxes it would look abit fitter and if the dog has been drawing foxes it should have a couple of war wounds non of witch can i see just a thought thats all good hunting all WHIPPET BOY!

i think the dog works as a hoover in a local pork pie factory And i think ur dogs heads too small and the rest of him is built like a hyeena!!! at 16 month the dog hasnt had much time to prove himself, but if he has the correct drive now hes always gunna have the correct drive give the guy a break stop being a bunch of knobs!!!! good luck to you [bANNED TEXT] at the end of the day theres dicks breeding stuff out there when all they have is crap anyhow!!! they just think they have everything when what they really want is a good cull in the kennels!!!! and since when has the siz

--> QUOTE(Dawn B @ Jan 1 2007, 05:11 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Might be a nice dog, it might of done a bit of work, but he certainly isnt in working condition in that photo. Have you got any pictures of him working? What type of work does he do? Would like to see him out in the field in fit condition. i think the dog works as a hoover in a local pork pie factory

if he has done loads of work i dont think he would look that unfit. also if it had done a lot of work his mussle tone would have stuck out a lot more than it is in the picture and at the age of 16 months its still a pup in its first season so it carnt of proved his self as a good stud yet nice looking dog though but hes still too yound to be breeding from in my opinion!
  24. i have a clulight for my its not a bad lamp at all but the wires on the lightforce are s**t to say the least. but if you want one for shooting i would pick the lightforce because it has a longer beam. if you have a dog i would pick the clulight hope this helps WHIPPET BOY!
