  14. bit of maternal instinct kicking in thats all.....................have to say cant honestly believe you think it might have been showing off to your friends though
  15. very nice mate, and how much would one of those set me back, just out of interest
  16. talking of punch oiiiiiiiiiii MARLON,..............cracked me up,should have all jumped him
  17. the reason im asking is a lad may have some pups due soon,i dont know the exact make up of the sire, should have asked him properly other than his dam was a saluki/grey and his sire was a whippet,he been put across a straight grey so just wondering about the make up of the pups thats all
  18. you wrong never i dont believe it but yes completely get what your saying,im just not very good at putting into words what my small brain is thinking
  19. sorry yes mate understand that not worried about being able to see the certain types in the mix just more the question of how much blood in the mix to make the difference you want in the make up of your dog
  20. i know what you mean but is say 1/8 of something in the mix to small an amount to make any difference to what you have as apposed to say 1/4 or 1/2 that would be easily visible and give you the attributes you require,am i making sense,i know its a bit random just trying to get my head round it thats all
  21. i regularly get told by lads that their lurcher has a dash of this blood or a dash of that in its make up,although sometimes its obvious looking at some types you can see for example a bit of saluki in it or bull whatever but how much of a certain type do you think you need in your running dog to make that bit of difference you wanted.for example if you had a whipp/grey and you wanted saluki in the make up of your next dog for whatever reason, bit more wind better feet etc then how much is enough to make a conceivable difference to get what you require, hope that makes sense
  22. Cheers I will try it out myself for a bit, iron out any probs allthough I doubt there will be any If I decide to make a few more I might be willing to let some go, I'm running out of good wood though Have you got sum elastic? Cheers Tony yes mate got elastic, black stuff like yours i havnt tried those flat bands they all using at the minute so dont know how they compare
  23. What about a lad that has to work 5 days a week, its dark when he gos to work its dark when he gets back,He lamps his dogs as many nights a week as possible,But some nights its just not worth going out,This winter there was 2 months of frozen ground.Maybe he lives in a rural area,no street lights and you certainly wouldn't be safe riding a bike and a couple of lurcher's running loose in the dark.Maybe he lives in a town but doesn't like his dogs being in the public eye, while he walks them around the streets. Some lads might think because there dog go`s hunting once a week,There dog doesn't need
