    ive only been out with his Blue bitch gypsy on the lamp, we didn't see many but she caught the 2 we did so i guess they would do it, ive seen the dogs run alot of daytime rabbits and still run a big rabbit daytime and do the biz. you def wont go far wrong and if you look in workingwhippet.co.uk you will see what they do best.     rabbitrunner whippets he has a litter due from his mike brown bitch and has used mike browns stud Glen. i go out with hime every week his dogs work and i have a pup out of the same breeding, or there is Darren Young up in the north east i bought my Dog Dodger off him i love him he fills my freezer with day time rabbits he suits me fine, Get on www.workingwhippet.co.uk and have a look there is post on there showing these dog in action Tom

    they can take most things, with the [bANNED TEXT] dog but they are best suited for rabbits and rats, but have a look on the working whippet forum you might be very supprised what they are capable of. Tom

    WE FERRET ALOT OF PLACES IN THE DALES AND THEY REALLY DO VARY, THERE ARE SOME VERY DIFFICULT PLACES AND ONE ESPACIALLY YOU WOULD KILL A DOG LAMPING THERE. SHEAR DROPS, RIVERS AND LITTERED WITH BOLDERS. TOM

    well today saw myself and Nigel up on one of nigels first farms in the the dales and one of the best, its full of small fields, stone walls, littered with rabbits, it also has a field full of reeds wich allows the dog to use their noses and push up the sitters. there are also some seriously steep hills to test the dogs. its truley is a great place. anyway heres a quick snap of the days events. Nigel took suzie and i took Tod these dogs have been a little rusty so today was a treat to see bothe dogs working well and catching the rabbits. we had a few good runs the first in the bag was

    WAS A GOOD DAY ON SAT IN THE DALES WITH THE 2 WHIPPETS WE MANAGE A DOZEN OR SO RABBITS ALL TAKEN BU THE DOGS HERES A FEW PICS HOPE YOU ALL ENJOY THEM THIS IS THE RUN NIGEL MENTIONED WITH FLY PULLING IT FROM THE WALL.     when your ferreting they are loose,as there reations are far quicker then ours. if it was lamping then it would be single handed. and as someone has stated its for pest control so 2 work well together Tom
