manda its not the amount, its not really the time of year, its mark, hes a wind up merchant its nothing special, just some dont feel the need to brag all the time likle him If it weren't for him, we'd have nowt to read really!!!!!! sometimes reading his posts is the only thing that cheers me up, then he reminds me my big dogs are complete shit compared to his littleuns....... And regardless of whether he's a wind up merchant or not, at least he doesn't do it with any malice, gives as good as he gets and has a bit of banter and a sense of humour, some on here aint blessed with

No seriously mate, mark knows i'm just taking the piss, your bang on the mark, pardon the pun!! i think its down to 2 things really, firstly its as you say jealous twats...but you have to remember these sites are a breeding ground for kids joining when the schools break up and have nowt better to do than talk shit.........you also find when you look at when people join, alot of the time, the ones that join towards the end of a season and start calling people are usually gone by the time the job starts full belt!!!!! messers and muppets its a shame really......

Mark, make it at anytime through the season and i'll come down for a long weekend...but as it'll be a f*****g long trip, i'll want to have one of your cottage things as i'll be bringing my other half and baby, plus me ferrets and dogs will need a comfy place to sleep, they all kennel just fine....... how does that sound????? on a positive note, i'll be able to write a review for your hunting weekend venture!!!!!!......

The night i lost my brindle dog, we took 9 out of one field in under 20 mins, then went on to get just under 70 in about 6 fields, we weren't out much over 3 hours lamping, so its not hard to do at all really, providing the game is out there for the taking!!!!!!!

Couldn't tell you the exact make up, Dam was ex racing greyhound, i'm assuming some kind of deer/collie mix??? He does alright on nights lamping, and hasn't gassed yet pre ban he's had 2 min courses on bigger stuff and been alright, but he dont like alot of them........... if he's fit and injury free he dont miss much so far!!!! Got a 3/4 grey 1/4 deerhound dog here ready to start this season. Hopefully he's going to be good at tracking those BIG deer. Joe I'm sure it'll do the job, they have good noses when they run on..........

Not really, my dog is 27ins and takes them with ease in whatever numbers they're available, day, night, ferreted or bushed.....he comes beating on a local shoot and took everything pre ban!!!

Not really!!!!!! the blokes who got me started in the dog game were old school and you'd never find them on the likes of a hunting site, spouting shit about how good the dogs were and you certainly wouldn't find them spouting shit on the moral high ground as you seem to be so intent on doing........so much for united we stand..........

i'd say if someone has a dog that can kill at this time of year consistantly, it'll be pretty good....seeing as everywhere round here is too long to even see your dogs, ground too hard, weather too hot....blah blah blah, etc etc etc!!! the main group of people who slag summer killing are those who dont truelly understand what happens in the countryside............. Yeah.. My bull terrier bitch has caught half grown rabbits at this time of year,Walking in the early evenings. But never in the winter.. Shes nearly 25 kgs and runs like a brick.
