  1. if thats TB then defra need to be made aware ASAP
  2. Possibly an old injury and it might have been one of the Lymphs that was very swollen, that is the part that removed damadged and toxin fluids etc after a injury or high stress. Probably ok to eat however i would discard that part and use the other remaining parts, haunch, shoulders etc.
  3. With a whole rear leg haunch its best to slow roast if you split the muscles you can make many meals from it, a front shoulder can again be used for slow roast or minced and diced. I to am from Guildford and process my own venison and sell it as steaks, fillets, legs, burgers, sausages, mince etc.
  4. I use an Rcom 20 and have hatched probably 200 quail eggs in it fine, as a whole Jap quail are poor parents and do not brood there own eggs, however a batam chicken hen will.
