the man hardly breeds now, the last time he had a litter in i can recall i was told by his friend that someone phoned about a pup,the phone caller was told most were spoken for but if she had 30 there might be a spare one.in other words,if you are not really friendly with him then it is very difficult to get anything from him as they all go to his mates or he keeps them

that photo is of cuileog oiphe ceol quite typical of billy rickards dogs, although he did seem to keep a few more reds.

i think i have a photo of the dog, was he a great looking red with big white chest and collar, can not remember where it came from, maybe one of dg's old shows ?

i have lots of photos here of the old cuileog dogs from billys albums, what always suprised me is how heavy built they were, i do not suppose athleticism was needed too much for their game. my dogs have quite a bit of the blood behind them but would not say they were bred tight.not sure if they will be easily found in the pure form.

add 2 teaspoon fulls of oil (safflower is good) to the feed as well and a multi vitamin (like sa 37) and yes,shampoo once a week with head & shoulders or a similar product, should clear in 4 to 6 weeks.

i guess its down from similar stock to the ones i have seen then,they breed pretty true to type.morris r is one of the main stalwarts of these dogs along with a few of his friends, he lives about 4 miles from durham ,your dog is the spitting image of his stock.

pat that dog is the double of several dogs i have seen from the north east (county durham) area, does his breeding hail from that area ???

kirklands signature chicken and rice 18kg for £15 26 % protien and 16 % fat main ingredient chicken. i feed a lot of raw chicken too though.

totally agree there stabs. have known lads with good working bitches ask bulldog lads for the use of a stud to put a bit more bone in, when what they should have done is go to a well boned dog ,that worked as well as the bitch at the same job and was from an earthdog breed.i do slightly favour using the same breed if possible just on the basis of uniformity (i know its onlty looks) something about me does not want the litter to look like a bag of M & M's.
