night vision? jesus!! i thought that was just something that was in films n stuff lol i have the same gun mate what bi pod are you using? and does it simply go where the eye is for the strap or do you need it properly drilling and fitting atc? cheers

lol thanks for the comments lads, not sure how long they took to be honest i started seeing my girlfriend after they were built, they have been up about 7 year now, achers and achers of land round the farm, no rabbits though

Gave the kennels a few layers of paint today so while i was on it i took a few pics, still need to do top middle section, didnt have anything to reach that high. Just got my a whippet about a month ago its my first dog and as some of you will have read in the other thread i havent had a good start. they are my mother in laws kennels she has 3 jack russels in there just for on the farm and ocasionaly the 2 bullmastifes go in, there is 2 large kennal, 2 smaller ones and a little kitchen area what you think? Our house is gettin built just behind where i took the pics this summer so im never far f

II hope your dog recovers ok, you sound a sensible lad, get him insured asap !! Thanks for the comments everyone he's on the mend now manages to get some pics today but I'm using my iPod can I upload them still? It looks worse now I think with the drain in and the stitches make the wound look bigger, are all the pics of whippets or just lurchers etc?

Wow they are nasty, thanks for the replys that's give me a bit more confidence I didn't take a picture but I will tonight whn I get in from work, my gf's mam is looking after him, I'm going to get him insured though deffo. The lad who I go out with is very experienced with all this and has stitch kits and everything it happened to his whippet but you could see his intestines and everything and his lab. I will not go out without someone more experienced now. I have a lot to learn. He has sone sort of drain in at the min that has to be taken out.

Been sat in emergancy vets had me dog out ferreting tonight about 8ish, got his side caught on a tree branch on the floor only had him a month it's my first dog got 2 holes in his chest one just flesh and one into the muscle a little, been crying me eyes out haha big puff I felt sick when I seen him do it, going to cost at least £400 he's still there now needs pickin up at 12. my girlfriends mam took me becuase I keep him here in the kennels as she has a farm and I stay here most nights, anyway I'm guttered but being put in that situation is awfull must get to sleep got to be up at 4. By

Hi mate i'v just bought a whippet, he's 18 month old I got him from a dog show I went to with my mate, gorgeous looking thing it's my first dog but been out alot with my mate who has 13 dogs all together and he liked it bit he was very timid, shy and petrified of cars also the guy had only had him out on the lamp a few times but never caught anything and he said he use to nick off for a while he didn't seem co fidebt in te dog at all, anyway i'v had him nearly a month now and he is a completely different dog, I was worried at first that he wouldn't chase because he wasn't interested at all in

I started off with a BSA ultra which I still have, just going out with my friend and his dogs but I am a bit more seriouse now so decidied to buy a s400 simply for longer range shots for rabbits as the larger barrel gives it that bit more accuracy hopefully it will be arriving tomorro so can go out at the weekend but hbent for much permission but where our caravan is.... The fields backing onto it are absolutly whicked with rabbits so I am wondering what I can say to the land owner to convince him to let me on and help keep the numbers down what do I say to him? How do I present myself? D
