well just thought id post this on here because i was over the moon last nite [bANNED TEXT] i [bANNED TEXT] out with my pup i walked quite far last nite and only got 2 chase 2 rabbits with her didnt even expect 2 catch any thing but on my way home we were coming back through some fields & there was a squater sat on the edge of a field so my mate was lamping i ran down the beam with my pup and slipped her she got it off the squat then dropped it i thought it was gonna get away thn she grabbed it again and droped it again at this time i thought it was goin to be a gonner but she chased it and

thanks for the replies ppl i said erlier i got 4 rabbits i took her out onto the feild neer me i took 1 of the rabbits and some treats [bANNED TEXT] i got to the field i got some treats out gave her a few thn put the rabbit down and slipped her she got it and never ran off she came bk to me [bANNED TEXT] i was walking over to her she came straight bk to me but leaving the rabbit thn the thing got up and ran again so i sent her bk to it she caught it again and stayed with it never ran off with it thankfully lol the treats do work alot. thank you's all again for the tips

i have just got 4 rabbits today so gonna see what she is like tonight ill take treats with me aswell

well done mate and i think ill try that method with my pup cause alls mine wants to do with a rabbit is run of so think ill try throwing a dead rabbit at night for her

sometimes its better for your dog not to jump the fence [bANNED TEXT] incase u slip on a field on the side of a road but if u want it to jump while chasing slip it with a dog that does jump while chasing

i dont no any collie xs [bANNED TEXT] have won any hare comp's but there is nothing rong with them i hav 2 myself 1 collie whip grey (pup) and 1 collie grey witch is 15 month old now and that has caught me hare's but not on the FEN like cause it wont have the stamina to run them but its not just a saluki that could kill a hare on the fen this time of year alls a dog needs is detemanation
