  1. I use the lightforce lance 140 when rew films me but the lightforce striker would probably be better when using just one lamp as its that bit brighter, atb
  2. That looks the business, would get some cracking shots of dogs ferreting etc, and if ordered now half price, I need one of these lol, thanks for sharing
  3. Well done with him mate, I know your out there putting things in front of the dog, hear good things all the time about him, keep at it with him mate, hows weasel getting on?
  4. She sounds great, I've bin unsure about what x to get for bushing, what i don't want is something that will try and go to ground, just want it for all above ground work, a springer spaniel may be the final choice but I'm still researching as i like terrier x's but its just the going to ground situation, Boris shore looks in fine condition.
  5. Love the look of her mate, I will be looking to get a busher sometime in the future, I do want to build up my knowledge of them first, I wouldn't want to meet Boris by the sounds of him by the way lol
  6. Nice pic, when they live and look wild they act it, what breed is the dog in pic mate?
  7. Like you say though mate time and effort and you will result in a stoke broke dog you can trust and run anywhere needs be ?
  8. As you say ideation returning from a run out of sight when sheep are about is another reason they must be 100%, some dogs cant help but have a go when they missed what they've ran and are passing by sheep on the way back
  9. I think constant contact with sheep for pups from a young age is essential and normally does the trick, I suppose the dogs we all run have instincts to chase, some just take longer then others to learn what to chase and what not to chase, ?
  10. A lurchers no good unless its stock broken imo, seen it a few times when lads have entered a field and cant slip because of sheep, when i was in Scotland my bitch became surrounded by sheep as we came through a gate, she just casually pushed her way through and headed to were the sets were we were about to ferret, I wouldn't have it any other way, ?
  11. That would of bin a sight to see TOMO lol ?
  12. Just checked about donating how do you become a donator? Remove the thread if its against the rules and I will repost when I've donated??
  13. Where's the best place to buy a mk3??
  14. The mark 1 is great used it all last season, but I spent 2 weeks in Scotland using mark3 and they was spot on everytime, donating what btw?
  15. I have a mark 1 ferret finder and collar but I want to upgrade to a mark 3, so I'm getting rid of my mark 1 and collar if anyone is interested 75 posted, any advice were to pick up a mark 3 would be grateful, cheers
  16. They love frozen blocks of meat aswell ?
  17. It was a scorcher today so gave the dogs some treats in ice to keep em cool ?
  18. Well I think £250 is a fair price for a well bred pup, rews put alot of thought into it lately and money in building his new kennel which has gave him the opportunity to have a new pup out of fly and retire her as she deserves it now, she has more then proved herself over the years and put plenty of things in the bag for rew as I've seen on numerous occasions, will be good if some decent lads of here had a pup so we could see how they turn out in the future, I know that rew will give pups to the right owner at the right price wether thts free or 250 depending on who they are and how well he kn
  19. Its a shame that, sounds a proper grafting bloke and a top hunter, RIP paddy
