Thanks lads. To be honest I have enough permissions and this one is just a small one that I sometimes shoot 1 or 2 bunnies a time on for a friend who gave me permission a year ago. I'm doing him and the other owners a favour for free really. Its not the loosing it that bothers me but more now the woman was and her manner towards a man in combat trousers and Jack Pyke jacket. I know that by next year if I loose it the place due to its small size metres across by metres long will be infested with bunnies and then there will be a real problem. Si.

He is buddy, simple as.

Brilliant, I love the banter in this thread . Thanks Simon, kind words . Si.

Alas, there would be no competition there Skot I'm afraid buddy. I have shot with and seen Simon shoot his springer on 3 occasions now. Twice up at his permission and once in Nottingham at my meet. His skills with a springer far over shadow mine mate I'm afraid, but I was only saying to Davy last weekend down at the caravan that I would love to really test myself against Simon now with my HW97 in a friendly shoot. I got told I was too competitive by Davy and told to shut up . Simon is a true marksman, someone who talks the talk but defo walks the walk. He's a gent too and a go

Yep I agree Mawders, springers are where my true love is in regards to air rifles now I must say. Pcps do have a huge part in what I do though especially for night time vermin control where if needed I have a fast second shot at the ready. Pcps are also better for static hunting in my opinion in open areas as the bipod is a great accuracy aid unless you use a shooting cushion with the springer in which case the springer is equally as good unless you have more than 1 target to shoot in quick succession. Yet. We all miss buddy, its expected from time to time. Si.

I have also used a Nikko Stirling Mount Master in the past mate. Yet again for the price a good little scope. My mate Reggaeman used one on his Ultra to really good effects. Also in 2009. Si.

Very funny Mr Thomas you wolly . Dont forget the new rat footage you got on a disc partner for editing . Just had Skot from the golf course on the blower, all good for tomorrow night. Si.

Thanks for the reply mate and good advice, Ill ask Kevin the man who gave me permission to see them on Wed morning if its a no go. Si.

Yes Mike I agree with what they have said 100%, hence my reply to Simon. Me and Davy are out tomorrow with Darryl (Marksman) on the golf course rabbiting and we will be filming. We are also filming a unique episode on Sunday (details to follow soon), so there is some good action to come on the channel soon. The original idea was to edit lots of clips together from different people and make a The Hunting Life Forum skills episode for the channel so others could watch too and see what's capable with a air rifle from skilled individuals. If that's a bad idea then we will stick to

Nice one Kill Zone . I used to use a Tasco back in 2009 on my r10. Nice little scopes for the price. Si.

Thanks Simon, Going off what Mawders and Villaman have said maybe we can do something together again at the meet in Jan in Nottingham. That way we can cover it in the normal meet episode that we do and it wont be so boring for others to watch (meant in a nice way). That or we can do a spring rifle hunting session with you me and Davy on one of our permissions where we can just hunt with springers. That way everyone will hopefully be happier. Si.

Check this out lads, Well Ive just been out filming and trying a challenge shoot on my allotment permission, one Ive had for over a year now when this lady turns up (about 55 to 58 years old) in her car and almost drove over my rifle on purpose after seeing it on its bipod. Staying calm I was just about to introduce myself when she started getting all boisterous asking if I had permission to be on there shooting. I explained I have and from who (all legal ect) when she informs me she is the chair lady of the NEW allotment association (WTF allotment association) in my village and sh

Ok then lads as I said it was only a idea and nothing more. I'll just leave it as it was if that's how you feel about how the channel is going Mawders bud. Fitchet, If we get the chance to do some roost shooting I will defo put up the clip for you mate. Villaman Regarding the 1 p in a tree at 72 yards. It is achievable Ive just been out and done it with my HW100 S. I almost did it in one shot looking at the video footage after but then I went to pot really as I didn't see where the first shot or many of the shots landed from the rifle end to aim off. I end

Nice photos pal. Welcome to the airgun section. Si.

If you shoot from the supported position (off your hand though) or off a bipod if using a pcp your groups will undoubtedly improve mate so I think your friend is correct. If your still shooting good tight groups though unsupported then good on you mate. Either way your not doing it wrong, one way just helps though. Si.

Hi lads and lasses, After following but not commenting on a previous locked thread in one of our sections while also pondering for new ideas for episodes of VerminHuntersTV I have come up with a idea and I would like some feed back if possible please. Me and Davy are always looking for new unique and good ideas for our channel and reading some of the posts in this said thread I realised that we have a lot of talented air rifle shooters that visit and post in our sections. Me and Davy do a lot of miles of travelling up and down the country to film and as long as the locations aren't mor

The .22 BSA Ultra i used to have plus the one i bought for a friend on here Tony (Phantom) really liked RWS Super Field pellets. I remember witnessing Tony shoot 5 pellets at 27 yards on top of each other with them making a 1 pile lead mass which we dug out of the target board. Si.

LOL Mike on a number of occasions . Si.
