    some of the stone artificials in my area have been there for 20 years or more and rarely hold foxes seem to prefer the big bankers... however a lot of these have decent holes in close proximity. the earth i build is quite a way from nearest holes so should be beter. and there is only a section of plastic in the middle of the earth so nealy all stone foxdropper!

    always found the radio and the hot water bottle work a treat. or better still a calm terrier to sleep with it or posibly very gentle lurcher

    I completely agree with you here mate, well said. And nice one jamie i hope it produces for you.... It will produce for us mate,you included when we get back out,jams on the road now and may be getting some new(not extensive) permission on a farm my friends mams so fingers crossed, and the young kid wants to get into the sport so may be taking him out to learn a bit,they've lambs going missing and no-one hunts up there and 4 other farms close have no-one on and lambs going missing is a problem aparantly they've tried allsorts but cant control them so with a bit of luck it is most d

    na no pics whilst making it. cheated a bit and used a 15 foot length of plastic pipe on one part. had to try a few spots but the earth was softest here.

    finished my artifical earth today so i thort i would take a few pics of how it looks, dug all by hand and built with stone done most of it on my own with a little bit of help from miller1989 off this site, its got 2 entrances and 2 kitchens just kept the same idea as most of the hunts round here which i know intimately . built it pretty close to a stream so could be a good spot for cubbing in. just gona leave it alone now and let it weather but dogs been running it no probs. feel like ive given something back to nature lol. any one else been building any? what you lads think?

    depends what you want out of your dog. the best dog i have ever seen on dear pre ban was a smithfield collie, but the best dog i have ever seen work fox was a bull thats my game so bull for me

    one of my terriers once found an oldd doll and had it in his mouth the ones that cry when there squeesed. quite funny to me and my mates. local busy body thought it was a real baby and thought we were killing a child never even came out the house or said anything just rang the police. had them round my kennells, dangerous dogs and investigating let them out the kennell and nealy licked his face off.. the coppa apolagised and left.. but thats the world we live in idiots

    i live trap,just use loads of cage traps rat/mink if there set in the right area you can get good numbers atb jamie

    was out lamping couple of weeks ago (rabbits) sliped my bitch on a squater that was sitting with rabbits when she brought it back it was a leveret about the size of a rabbit
