  1. hi aaron if your still having trouble pm me mate and ill give you my brother in laws no he will help yot out
  2. run as many dogs as yot want on rabbits. But i wouldnt because one of them will end up seriously hurt.
  3. i think its ok to advertise stud dogs but first i would want to go for a day or night out with that stud dog.
  4. my wife is the best goalkeeper ever. She has never let a ball in yet
  5. micky b i always had black terriers and wouldnt have any others but due to very bad luck and only 1 terrier left who i can honestly say is a worker i was given a small jr off our local registered pack terrierman and i can honestly say he is small for my liking but i have bolted more foxes with him in such a short space than anything. Its opened my eyes to the other terriers around.
  6. glad to hear the little one is ok. Thats the main thing. Good luck will follow in the end. At least the weather will be better the weekend.
  7. lancer i lost 2 terriers to ground in the last 5 yrs because were we live is a mixture of rabbit burrows which hold fox and rocky hills were you cant dig. I cant and dont put terriers in certain earths now because of these earths because the terriers i had wont leave a earth.
  8. rodsmith was that comment to me (wanker) at the top of the page?
  9. winnie spot on mate. I really cant believe some of the posts. A terrier should stay until dug to end of and if some of you think not then as i have always said the terrier is fxxxed. Very low standards i think im just glad some of the local lads only breed true working dogs and give them to local lads and not in it for the cash
  10. i think a working terrier should be able to deal with rats everyday easily. I call a worker a terrier who has 3-4 yrs under its belt digging weekly and not jacking at all then i would consider that a worker. But as we all know now you cant test a terrier to its fullest.
  11. bay or mix it. Some people state the hard dog the wreckless dog well give it to me i will take all of them because if it wasn't for dogs like them then the terrier is fxxxed.
  12. plenty of good meat bones and walk him as usual should be enough. Muscle looks good but doesnt add to stamina etc lots of muscle less energy in my view

    Dog Help

otter he doesnt want to get rid of the dog. Dog cages are ok as a last resort if it stops him wrecking the place he will soon grow out of it. As said plenty of walks work him a little if you want too open his mind to the countryside. Give him some good bones to chew on raw meaty ones. Good luck and he will come ok
  19. hi p***y thanks for all your comments and your a very knowledgeable man on terriers its good to hear on a site like this. Just one more question to you. Did they put bull blood in to start the black terriers or was it added later on.
  20. cant post pics as i use my phone i have a patterdale which is a fair size she is handy in big earths will set there in a tight earth but takes a while but if they have the heart they will get there. I now have a russel who is very small and worked 2 reasons with our local registered hunt F&D and is a belter for bolting especially in our tight earths ie rabbit burrows. I now find the small dog very handy.
