out today checking snares and bodygrip cages etc as walking down the wood i seen somthink at the top of the tree in the field went to investergate and it was a fox as it jumped a good 10 ft down and ran down the fence straight threw the run my wires on but it didnt catch i think it had somthink to do with the speed it went threw the snare was shut not sure if he got his leg in it and then the stops not made it go tighter what do you think but ive never seen a fox up a tree before anyway all snares empty just this in the BG

heres 2 i made one with one strand of wire in half so to bits twisted round together and the other has 2 strands if you get me? how they look?

go onto the pinned section at the top of the main page , and you will see rat snaring by gs waters how to set the benders in detail along with the snares , you will also see good clear pictures of the snaring methods put up by peg and gun, i wouldn,t bother with fishing monofil line as they will bite through it , either use two strands of brass rabbit snare wire , stainless steel , or trace wire , anything that is thin and strong and runs fast. i was thinkin of usin 2 strands of wire

right plan is to get some rats sorted on a local farm the runs are good but i wondering could i use fishin line? aslong as its strong and any close up pics of how there set and tips basicaly anythink to help me out
