  1. me pal from bedale way on got a pair of whippet with touch of bull ove a spaniel, ya could not really see the bull in the dam, I know pointer says you done well with whippet to spaniel bitch, you any pics of yours? All stick one up of me pals pair later on , iirc his dog around 20" tts maybe smaller, bitch only around 15 inch looks little stronger than his dog though
  2. Theres compromise with every type of lurcher, always wanting more aggression more speed better feet more stamina better coat, etc, all I know is I dont really enjoy lamping my saluki until they older so that rules me pup out , wont lamp me courser , so these do the job nicely hopefully bidable enough to work without leash lol cant see em going wrong on moors ot ratching about scrubland etc in day time, work all day flushing I reckon, guess there will better n worse out there lol

  8. Wuyang its amazed me just how similar your one is as a pup, the pics of it older are about what I expected in stamp, smashing looking hound you have there pal, my saluki dog bidable as are his pure bred offspring, so hoping these be sensible like yours FDR think theres one dog pup spare, rest spoken for couple pet homes but hey good life for them, to be honest am suprised they gone, just word of mouth, proper lookng forward to fetching mine on.
  9. You can only flush too gun or hawk
  10. Cheers lads, yeah they straight first cross, my boy later admitted the saluki got in with spaniel couple of days before spaniel stud served her.Am expecting a jack of all trades type out of them, master of none likely lol like say thete be benefits and compromises aplenty, very strong litter even in size bar one bitch who just smaller, she not a poor doer though in fact she more top of tree sort, they love digging must come from saluki cos they maresbfor it, be interesting to see how they shape up, doubtless they gimme good few years graft, mooching bushing lamping flushing etc
  11. Over the last two seasons ive lost the engine room of my pack of dogs, first my terrier died of old age, then only months later my beddy grey bitch was pts after hunting accident, they formed the centre of my team. They both flushed quarry for the salukis n coursing pups i keep, they also worked flushing to my hawk, the terrier ratted and done other bits, beddy x was also lamped, providing food for birds in moult. So the pair of em been a right loss annyhows the terier was replaced with a springer, she been a pleasure to trainnwork and own, in part replacing the terrier, great with birds,
