I cant remember what model it is, I have everything at home including the original manual just cant remember right now the model. It is quite an old rifle but has done littl, there is no scrapes chips or marks of any kind, came with two spare mags and a W German S and B scope. At a hundred yards the grouping was very slightly to the right, spot on, on height and a 3 shot group was round about an inch, so I was happy with that. I phoned the dealer that I got it from and he assured me that it wont be a problem, so I am just getting a feed back from people witha lot more experience than

I recently upgraded my old .243 for a second hand sauer that looks to be in great condition. I have been out, checked the zero and everything seems fine. I was giving it a clean and thought i would run a piece of paper under the barrel to the end of the stock to make sure it was nice and clean and came across a small section of contact. The barrel is very slightly touching the stock over about 5mm, questions is, have I spent the best part of £1000 on a duff rifle or will it be ok?

How chuffed am I. Woody is 10 months now and I have had him out with the gun for a wander, last time home and again a few weeks later (friday night). First time out I had one pigeon which after a bit of encouragement he picked up, dropped (bit of encouragement), picked up and he brought it back to me. Sat in front of me and dropped it. Not quite in my hands but close. We were out on friday night and shot another pigeon which landed in the middle of a yet to be cut silage field. In the gate and headed in the general direction and he worked the wind until he found it, picked it up an

The plan was to keep him in a kennel, but wifey and kids dote on him to much. He even gets away with coming in covered in mud.

The company I work for have just dropped a bombshell that I will be working abroad from March to Sept with basically no time at home, by that i mean the odd weekend and two weeks in August. He is 5 months old and walks well to heel on the lead and sits at heel no prob. STops to the siungle whistle and comes back on the double. The advice / help i am looking for is what can be done to keep teh training up. I am not sure about sending him away as m

evening guys, Thinking about having around one of the farms tomorrow, see if anything shows up. Pup is now 4 and a half months, is this to young to expose him to the gun and any potential game. He has shown no signs of being afraid of bangs with party poppers and various other loud noises the kids make. not intending a great deal of walking with him

thanks for all the comments folks. He is getting some size now. We have been working on playing with him, trying to do 10 mins or so a day on the lead, heel and sit. He comes straight back for the double toot on the whistle, not sure how I get him working on the single stop and stay. I would love to get him to sit and stay but he just isnt getting it. Any trainers available in Aberdeenshire or anyone that is well versed in training that would be available to see how we are doing, and what I need to do, as I a sure the dog will be sound it is me that needs more education. Will try and get

i have a 110 double cab, 55 plste, done 72k miles,I have had it for 7 month and have had absolutely no problems. I had a ranger before, was a fine enough machine, was the previous 2.5 model. found it did around 25mpg to the gallon. Also found my back hurt like buggery after a long journey, aberdeen to skye or aberdeen wick. I find my defender comfier although would prefer more right elbow room. If i fill it usually put in around 60 quid of fuel and get about 450 miles before i refill it,that is made up of commuting, shooting and generally just running around. I love my landrover, but will c
