I've always used "Taktic" (Amitraz)....kills most things that crawl.....bit like taking a sledgehammer to crack a nut though, so it's important to get the mixture correct. Cheers Printer

Sorry to hear that Swansea, that is bad luck, these thing happen though, and by not being there I’m guessing you won’t really know what triggered it off, could of been one of many, many reasons. As regards ‘Tag’, if you are happy with his progress so far and temperament wise he's always been fine with the other dogs then IMHO I’d keep him, because like i said you don't, and probably never will know the reason he did it, I certainly wouldn't make a hasty decision just yet. Probably nothing wrong with the clippers, maybe you just need a different blade from the one(s) supplied. Allbrooks in Wakefield are helpfull, and they have a web page. I used to use clippers (Osters) with a skip tooth blade and I couldn't fault them, but they did ruin the dogs coats, I find the coats are better just using scissors. Printer

David, how's the sire of your dog bred?. I'd be interested in knowing what dogs are behind him......the reason I ask is because I had a dog the spitting image of him, who unfortunatly died this year. Printer

Swansea, An interesting fact about that illustration is that it is of a dog called “Peacham†3,422 (1866) shown in two different poses, and it is supposedly the earliest published illustration of a Bedlington. Also every Bedlington today, in some form or other is descended from him. Here's a pic of a dog called Blyth Bob "Blyth Bob" born in 1897 belonged to a Bedlington breeder called John Douglas, who apart from being a gamekeeper to the Duke of Newcastle at Clumber Park was heavly involved with gamefowl having I believe created the breed Modern English. Take the advice of Baldie and look into it closely. I discussed this with DEFRA a while back because of the simple reason I did not want a firearm in the house, anyway to cut a long story short DEFRA said.......the use of mechanical percussion methods require physical contact between the instrument and the animal, although they are widely used for farm animals they are not appropriate for use on feral animals as they require the animal to be under close control, ie. restrained, which could cause additional stress. Personally I would forget the Humane Killer route and stick with the "free b

when you paste onto an existing pic (background layer), it should paste onto a new layer (layer 1) .........should be able to see these if you go to menu 'window' and sub menu 'show layers'. To move it make sure you are using the 'move tool' a solid arrow head with a cross next to it (top left in tool pallet) Printer

Also make sure you are on the correct layer Printer

Personally I would only breed if I thought it was beneficial towards the continuation and improvement of a family or strain, if that was not my concern then I would not even contemplate breeding. Breeding to me should be about improvement, perfect terriers as regards shape and make have been bred by the score, and if it was only a matter of shape I’m certain that terriers have been produced that we shall never improve upon, but what we can improve upon, I believe, is the natural instinct and working ability. If we can’t breed something better than the dogs of 20 – 30 years ago, t

Not the best quality pics I'll admit, but I blame it on the camera. Bring back a lot of good memories for me and some may find them interesting. Printer

For me it was Champion the Wonder Horse, Casey Jones, Flashing Blade, Robinson Crusoe, White Horses, and Belle and Sebastion, strange how I can still remember the theme tunes. Printer
