from some of the dealings i've had with farmers i've found them to be chancers trying to make a quick buck.the jabs the farmer used cost him next to nothing so whats he hoping to acheive other than making a few quid and getting a dog destroyed in the process.tell your friend to contact the farmer in question and tell him if he wants to take it further then do so but advise him that its going to cost him a small fortune and with the only evidence being his supposed sightings of the dog the chances of him winning anything are slim at best.

what i do with my flask is fill it 1 quarter full with sea salt add a little water just to dampen the salt replace the lid and shake like f**k for a few minutes.rinse it out with hot water and it should sparkle.

i know it sounds stupid to go round a farm dressed up but it works.dont go round in your chavtastic burbery bollocks or looking like an escaped con(which i usually do).i,ve found that if i call in after work in my uniform (no i,m not a copper)which includes shirt and tie i get a lot more positive response.also name dropping is a good one ie other farmers who are happy with your work or other huntsmen

sorry should have said i'm running a heinz 57 lurcher both parents bull type crosses.i hunt legal quarry only i'm living in the callington/gunnislake area working land as far down as st neot. i'll keep an eye out for the lights.
