  1. remmys, £5 per hundred here in N.Wales..lovely accurate clean round
  2. top instructions and kit.....talk about ugly sister to princess....
  3. hi, its all personal choice. But, to add to the others, if your going to shoot in a confined space, heavy or light barrel get it at 16" in length and not the 20+ odd.....Also, make certain its screw cut for a moderator, i have 2 (of either) and cant see any difference at all..................triggers are something to mention my 453 has a set trigger, you push it forward to "set it" which gives you a nice light pull....but whatever you get (452), budget £15 extra for a brooks kit...which will help turn the trigger from garden gate to fox killer......
  4. hi, try MTC ....mamba ?? or S/H viper...viper better as has 1/8" adjustments...
  5. try the outdoor connection ones, good width, one handed adjustment for length and has a thumb loop so make it easier to keep on your shoulder, 100% recommended, retails for £30... available in black, realtree etc..
  6. hi, i bought one off the bay, uses C123 batts which i ordered 20 with it...2000% cheaper even with postage than the uk...great bit of kit and you can get some decent filters and add on's like IR etc....paid £10 for torch, £9 for batteries and £8 postage...superb bit of kit ...pm for details if your not sorted
  7. plenty of advice (google it) but the main thing is..it cant be rushed....all things have to be done in order and there are no short cuts at all...always rub with grain whatever you do otherwise its almost impossible to get the cross marks out of grain....its all about getting it smooth to touch, after basic shaping and sanding you have to spend hours using wire wool before sealing and applying finish...then dependant on oil or staining you will need to rub stock down again and again .....you seem to have a great shape of stock so now the elbow grease is required. if all else fails...you can p
  8. i have a 8-32 x 60 and have not had any problems with it, obviously it isnt going to be fantastic but for the money the build quality is as good as other same price comparators, clarity good as you'd expect looking down a 30 mm tube..its no viper, bushnell, etc...but then its not the price of these either. best bargain is a second hand one, hopefully non abused , 50% cheaper...
  9. hi, not seen one, seen plenty that say up to 50mm and they dont even go on properly and normally rip the threading...why not try camo tape, i have on my Viper and took it off and no probs, slight bit of residue but took this off with some iso prop solution
  10. With the conviction being recently this does alter the importance of it on your application. As others have said, it may have to be that you put it in your FAC app and hope for the best. You have to ask though...if it were you making the decision, would you grant it ?? A hard question to answer but when they have 100's applying with clean records etc.... My advice, fill in your form, get the character references so that the people have known you all of your life, let them mention that the recent trouble has been a "regrettable blip" ....obviously out of character . What they write about yo
  11. hello, just thought i'd do the proper thing and introduce myself before i start posting. 41, years young, been involved with rifles, mainly airguns since 11 years of age. just moving up to rimfires and looking forward to shooting my first 100 metre grouping. had a break away for shooting for a while but now 100% back into it again...
