    yeh it was a good day out, beats sitting in the house mate! Harry my younging was askin to go out again tomorow but bit busy then dog worked well chasing them in that long grass and marking the sets. Im pleased that ferret i was going to get rid of started working aswell.

    im the same dont mind pickin the spade up and leavin the rabbit down there! by the time you wait for the ferret to come out you could of dug it and be onto the next set

    all i feed them on is rabbits mate, she eats them no problem but just think its not in her, when there kickin on the deck she just looks at them and walks past.

    ok cheers mate, i got 2 out of the litter ones spot on this one doesnt bother at all, it goes down and you can hear the rabbits running about then it just comes out, i put the hob in and the rabbits come fling out.

    I normally do tek pics but was supposed to be leaving at 2pm to get home as was going out, didnt leave till 15:35 due to the dig . Will take some next time Gary

    went out today with me young one and the keepers son for a few hours, started off well then after a while had a lot of digs, last dig took 2 hours to get through due to roots and chalky ground - ended up with 9 altogether just pleased i got my ferret out was'ent leavin till i did. Gary

    i got some from a jewellers the other day that was the only place that had any left they charged 2 quid each but had to get them.

    i net and shoot with the ferrets, i bolt the areas which is difficult to net and shoot them with a 12 bore,

    yeh they were, i gave one to one then he must of sent his mate down. they were all big rabbits not surprised they wanted rid of them. never thought about swappin for veg i will next time mate cheers

    set off this morning and arrived at the allotment at 9:15am, bloke at work said he had seen a few about and asked me and terrierbitch to have a go at them. wanst expecting many but ended up with 8 in total, terrierbitch took his patterdale for the first time and she did very well marking sets and managed to chase a rabbit owt the grass which was back netted, gave 2 of the rabbits to 2 old fellas and got back home for 3pm to put up some xmas lights to keep our lass happy. we got another hedge to do off someone else while we were there.
