    I wouldn't use a spot on treatment for puppies in the first place as that needs time to kick into the system fine for an adult but a pup needs emptying out of worms soon after treatment and alot more regular.

    What a bunch of class replies................ I was playing with my little pony horses and starting 'big' school oh and getting my first ever job, a paper round and saved up my money to get my first ever dog, a bitch i still have now Also paying no attention to the opposite sex at all cause they were all 'stinky' annoying creatures

    Merle to merle for me is an absolute no no! Of course people have done it without knowing what the risks are without any problems but sheer luck would have been on their sides, far too risky to try it and hope for a good outcome imo.

    Train the bloody dog from the start not to pull then! Bull x or not, dogs will pull on lead if brought up that way, my bull x is only 11 month old and will walk at my side without a lead or with one on...........

    I have only had to retire one dog (shows my age) But even now i hate it, remembering what she was like as a youngster and watching her give all her heart but not connect.....but she still has a run or two just needs more rest than she used to need, im sure she will enjoy the leisurely life, she definately deserves it! Oh and happy birthday to the youngun!

    That's what i call a proper bull terrier!! The show bred ones are just ruined and hideous looking compared to this one! I would love for You to explain Your findings,If You are to breed a K.C registered dog You should strive to get as close to the breed standard as possible every time.     It just winds me up, every season so far she's had only 3/4s of one due to injury and this one takes the biscuit. Oh she will manage tracking the deer but will she still manage stopping an injured one is the thing She has not long turned 4 year old so i suppose she is still young enough to recover well, i will start lead walking her as soon as she puts weight on the foot.

    Thanks for replying scallywag that has put a downer on things! 7/8 months of no action! I am even more gutted than i was originally. Definately not be back to work this season then, what a piss take! Her main role is tracking roe Really not good to hear this, she isn't putting any weight on the foot and it is just like your dogs foot in the photo when she stands. She is the best bitch i have and can rely on, looks like that is out of the window. I should change my name to crippledogs
