    If you go in lurcher entrance it's £5. There is a full racing both days under 23 over 23 straight racing, hurdles and long jump. The showing to start after racing. Any further info ring kev 07976370043

    Might come with pups give them a trial. Others not fit and coming out of season. The reason I asked bout traps is to make it clear that it is out of traps!

    Lurcher racing at Highgate greyhound stadium on SUNDAY 5th January 2014, not as advertised in Countrymans. Distances are 100 m for pups, 250, 414 and 710 all dogs racing must be muzzled. Trophies and rosettes to 3rd place Leads and collar stall and a raffle. Full bar and café!! Come and give your dogs a blast!!

    Well folks, its race night at Highgate this Saturday!! The gates open at 4pm and the 1st non-ped race is at 5pm. Hope to see more there this time because there is no snow and the x-factor has finished! The league is still up and running With Andy in the lead for the overs and Little un in the lead for the unders There will be a trophy for the league winners. Please let me know if anyone is interested and if I have missed anything! Racing over 414 again.

    Just got back from highgate, Thanks for the usual gang + 1 new one for turning out in such cold weather Here we go with the results. All raced over 414 Unders 1st race Little un 1st 27. Tillie 2nd Zeus 3rd Overs 1st race Andy 1st 25.84 Blue (not counted - just to make numbers up!) 2nd Misty 3rd Final unders Little un 1st 28.20 Tillie 3rd Zeus 2nd Final overs Andy 1st 26.34 Blue 2nd Misty 3rd Well done to both winners, Andy who just pipped Blue at the finish I will put the league up soon.     We have had a few requests for 414 because the 250 is not long enough for the lurchers to get going, so thanks to jeff fletcher and the stadium staff we can now race 414 INSTEAD of the 250. The next meeting is November 27th - booking in between 4.30 til 5 in the bar. The non-peds will run their heats first, then the lurchers then the non ped finals, then the lurcher finals. Maybe we might get a few more!! Just out of interest can you put a post up if you are interested, this will give us an idea on how many might turn up.

    I would like to say thanks to the people who came and supported us, the results are on k9 community - lurcher section. Hopefully more will come along next time, which I will keep you all posted when I find out.

    What is the distance you're running for the lurchers? Are the unders and overs running the same distance? the distance is the same for overs and unders - 250m
