    agreed the option is dont post,also when i raced greyhounds they chased a plastic bag on a the hare rail there sight hounds they will chase anything thats moving.regardless of whether its a tesco bag or a a teddy bear. same with my bitch she'll run anything! I see the lure now as a very good tool in the lurcher mans kit bag! I've seen her pick up on her turning/strike and she's using her gears well now yes she's only 13month but i think this is the best thing i've ever made for her!

    Borstal when i was kid But they call them secure units! and 6 month in castington got out in 02 and never got in any bother apart from driving! It's ok in side had a good time, but only thing that gets me is doing as your told can't get out for a walk to clear ya head! every thing else was good! would hate to go back now it would kill me ad miss my boy's like mad

    Thats what i do but with one turn at the min! i don't just switch it on and off at the end! i make it as real as possable! i slow it right down till she gets close then start it back up so she's on her toes all the time!

    You don't have to own a lure machine to say what you'ed run! but i want you to think about how far your dog would run and the amount of time's in one week!! This could be to get them fit or keep them working fit! but if you'ed do x amount or run's to get them fit plz post to say so if the number is less than keeping them fit!

    No i walk the way they'ed be running home to block them from cover no matter what way the wind is blowing! but on a day time i try to keep the wind in my face!

    nice machine but u need 2 offset the cord with a pulley wheel it will stop the dog running into the machine on the return run true mate was meant to sort it but was in a rush! had to put my leg out to slow her down , gonna get some of that mesh with to poll's!

    if you don't have a lathe then yes!! from what i've looked at you could turn it in to a motor but you'ed need to but a motor to start it! so more weight!

    well it would work but the thing is with starters they are only ment to run for 10/15 sec, and they draw 30ah+ so you'ed only get a few runs with a 18ah batteries, but you need deep cycle batteries or a car batterie ok if you have a car to carry everything! my lure has done 12 runs with only a 2 min brake ( the time it takes to walk the line back out) used my 18ah for them and it used a 1/4 if that! if in two weeks it pass's my testing i will start making them! and they will be well under a £100 with p&p all you will need is a batterie sorry mate i woulnt be useing a starter i

    where abouts you from mate??? as i've said above if it pass's the testing i will do them cheep! I know it will pass the test now but i'm just holding on ( wont be ripping any one off) can't give a price right now , as i don't know how much the steel will cost me, my old boss said i could have it for cost but i don't no the cost or if it can be a steady thing or just a one off!!

    Up date new vid, with new spool fitted now running alot faster 160 yards long not 150!! turn half way down!!!!
