    Look i honestly dont care what people say about videos of the breed and being 6000 years old..and plus dnt want any old folk telling me to learn when i have tried and tested these dogs and like i have said they dont suit rough work end of story and until someone can show me a dog that will work a fox 3 nights a week and then drag i might change my mind but why bother when ya can get another cross and do it with out half the effort end of stick to running the 6000 ear old dog on hares ..

    no problem desertbred by your name u love them so you will fight there name but fair play but read this and think again...Would you use a saluki with terriers while digging ,ie a dragging dog. there grip on anything that bites is poor its there phyiscal body not a dog to take a chewing from big game ive seen it time and time again people trying them when they just aint suited..lamp them tuesday night no doubt they take a fox but its an big effort and your doing more damage to your dog that whats its worth i believe myself a fox should be dispatched as quick as possible the time it takes this b

    Simple i hate them but i understand why people love them , ever dog has a job and when it comes to hares they are top dog but anything that bites back, let the hardy breeds which arent as good at hares do their job eg wheaton.beddy,bull, collie ,crosses ..they dont suit me or the land i hunt or the quarry i prefer so thats why i dont like them, not hard enough..thats a view on someone who hates them..as for recall the crosses i had was perfect and a nice all round dog to deal with but just not cut for bigger game..my friend in the north has him coursing and thinks his a 5*star dog on hares and

    Do you know every lurcher owners circumstances ?Dont know or care. well youd want to walk your dog for 2 hours a day now stop to get them are fit as a treadmill and i do both so dogs and built and fit so no excuse not to work 100%

    To all you guys thinking Salukis are so great and lets all use them in breeding lurchers stop and think why do people add greyhound to Salukis! End of story there is a reason we use greyhounds and not these paps of salukis

    I use it on all my dogs terriers , lurcher and even springers 2 or 3 timesa week on a nice canter speed for about 15mins which really tones the dogs and after they use it i take them free running in the fields to cool down not a time saver but it is a good way to tone and get a dog to top fitness with having to do all the hard work yourself

    load of sh*t there is a reason we use greyhound and not the dirty saluki x.i personly tried a saluki x and so have my friends through out the years and now dont get me wrong they are king of the hares but dont show them anything else or you`ll sickened you breed off them now im sure people think there great for stamia but any dog kept fit should have plenty of stamia and no need to breed in saluki blood ! they bring nothing to the table for me anyway !
