    shes beagle/russell x cocker mate. She’s a handy dog mate real fast and fairly athletic hits water will jump sheep fencing and speaks well. As said on a previous post she’s not mine she’s a mates. My first encounter with something bred to bush, im used to working jacks but she’s good fun to have around An them two have clicked well. She’s seen a fair bit since being here An has been a pleasure to have around

    Well the wee one was Boxing so loaded the wee dogs for an hour bushing whilst I waited. I never even made a 100 yards An they where of . An that’s where I spent my hour waiting. They normally have a hunt on wotever they can find An today it was the deer who where on the menu. They took off from the banks to the woods. I could hear the busher in full scream from deep in the wood to the far side An back close. I spent the whole hour there watching and listening. They flushed 10 that I seen before calling it a day. Managed a couple off pics off the old dog waiting on the busher coming back

    Spot on Darren sounds a good way to go. I have him back fly fishing this week and start on the rivers soon enough . Try get our selfs a salmon this year ??. Where’s that fella Mik when u need him lol

    Thanks mate ave never ventured the hill tops for game always busy busy with walkers but is nice for a wander esp 40 mins up the road just grand to be away from the streets. There’s three all whthin An hours drive hopefully walk them all in the following month

    That’s just the start of Loch Lomond mate small hill maybe 1/2 he just to the top. Hoping to do a better hill next week again

    No Daniel that’s it. Since he’s been big enough for my shoulders he’s came somewhere. He’s been everywhere invites to poaching to night fishing . Outdoor sports ain’t for my youngest but I honestly couldn’t ever see Ewan being indoors

    Well it’s that time again where the dogs are slowing down. Me and Ewan are just mooching now rather than having actual outings. Last year we spent our fishing time chasing the salmon and blanked all year ??. This year I have him a member on alittle rainbow and brown sindicate. He has the basics to learn with nothing fancy and we are building a box off flies as we go. Well open day was Saturday and he’s 13 now so am not needed he takes off his own way and likes to try his own style as he calls it. 3 degrees rain and wind saturday was freezing but he bagged 3 rainbows. Kept 2 for his mum. Yester
