  6. yeah mate white stoats are known as ermin or ermine. the pelts used to be used to trim the robes of high court judges and royalty. it was highly prized. as it was uncertain of its availibility. as most stoats never turn ermin. another thing i have noticed over the years is every pure white ermin i have handled, [and i'v had a fair few ] has been female. i'v had males in part ermin but never full. not sayin it doesnt happen, but i have never seen a male in full ermin.. i'm in middlesbrough mate.. bbb i have a pure f/male n freezer, also a large silver mink, how much would they cost 2 b
  7. i had a diana sp50 the roll's royce of push in barreled pop gun's. gat gun's were just a cheap copy of the sp50..
  8. used to use em back in 1980's shooting feral pigeon's and rats down the dock's they did the job. change the spring and seal's . and it will be more than capable of taken a few pest out

  10. if you get the right type of working terrier .be it lakeland, patterdale, border ect. they are the gamest dogs around and dont need bull blood . they will tuff it out in the worst conditions.winning or losing they will stay to the end. and i believe are gamer than any of the bull breeds.
  11. what *im a first class c**t but im good at it* hes up his own ar*e i think your all a bunch of kids might aswell be a thread saying look how big my cock is your all taking long shots showing no respect for your chosen quarry shooting stuff off chimney pots silly shots through fences and suchlike your all dickheads imo opinions are like arsehole's mate.. everybody has one. and nobody wants to see yours..
  12. cheers mate . i'm a taxidermist in the north east. and i get half a dozen or so ermin each winter, off ma mate who is keepering on the north yorkshire moor's. i also get a fair few part emines off him aswell. but yeah the full ermin is not easy to come by.
  13. here's an ermin i mounted a couple a month back. got a few in the freezer . if anybody be wanting any mounted gimme a shout..
  14. yeah i love ambushin mixies i dont even need to shoot em just bang em on the head with a stick..
  15. estimated/ paces ect . but i'm good at calculating distance. my mate a game keeper has a range finder. he has ranged targets and asked me to guesstimate and i'm usualy not far out . i have done a lot of shootin ,so dont make rash bullshit statements. what i have said is truth . but i do agree with ye .i do like stalking and ambushing . and dont go out looking to take long shots. i often pass em up. and only take em when conditions are right and i'm feeling confident.
  16. mmmmm yeah . plus i hate being limited to a certain number of shot's with the pcp's . with a spinger you can pop till you drop.
  17. yep watch them springer underlevers. good gun's . but very fond of fingers..
  18. did it not have a anti bear trap thing in it. my dads always telling me to be careful when im loading his tx200 no it didnt , it was one of the first very early model's.. i did some awsome shots with that gun, but one day it wanted a piece of me and got it. i threw it in the river after that. even bear trap's can fail so always hold the under lever when putting a slug in the gun . or you wont be playin the banjo no more.
  19. i aint no kid. and i'm not advocating long shot's. just saying the can be done and as for fieldcraft i'v had quarry that close i could touch it.
  20. some of the best shot's i'v seen / done were with spring gun's i used to love em. but when my hw77 amputated half my thumb i moved over to pcp.
  21. yep . 35yards and beyond with practice. but long shot's are not for everybody,
