Includes briefing on safety and beating techniques, every beater will be equipped with a radio; a light breakfast, refreshments and a hot lunch will be supplied- all FREE!

    If you are a total novice give NOBS a try, I don't hold much sway with doing their course etc but they could point you in the right ditection, also give BASC a shout, their Young Shots membership may be an option and should help you make that first step. Other than that, keep asking in here, I'm sure someone will help.     I personally was saddened to learn that THL was to close as a result of the actions of a small minority of malcontents, now that it is tempoarily reborn I sincerely hope that such people can get the meassage and GO.

    Im Nick Cordery and I founded and am financing PuBS to help more people, especially newcomers and young people, to find places on shoots for picking up. beating and loading. I am now retired and have the time to enable more people to participate and enjoy our sport without any fees or charges to users.     Hi PuBS = Pickers up Beaters Shoots - is a new organisation to enable pickers up, beaters, newcomers and shoots to make contact and fill vacancies the main point is that it is totally FREE to all users. A forum and website- FREE- are operating and already three people have found postions on shoots and possibly two more.
