Thats why the working terrier game is the way it is,money has taken over from work.Just look at the border for instance,people ask why there are not many working borders about.Well i think its a lot to do with them been priced beyond the working mans pocket,if they were at a more reasonable price there would be more lads interested in trying them.I dont sell pups or buy pups,if i have surplus pups there given to friends that will work them,and if i need a pup i can always go back to them down the line at some stage,and i think thats the way it should be,but there's always someone out there loo

and i hope ya never in this situation as the say goes you pays ya money and ya take ya chances im sorry to say 500 wouldnt buy a diggin dog of me ive no of shamo going for more. im not money minded trust me but a honset diggin dogs can like rockin horse shit if your not round the right folk and yes iv pts well bred uns they all dont make it jmho

they get all feedin times and how many rabbits they need in the wild do they just chuck a adult or two half growns in to them and dont be shy to miss a day just make sure ther water bred em for years and they been fine you think 35 year ago al i was told was give em bread and milk they all lived fine and worked

i,d say its something to do with the matching up, prize money / the potential to earn in the feild like track dogs horse racing etc edited to say im glad we all moan about the price of pups , if we didnt 250 300 notes would be a thing of the past in no time, i have a hard time trusting lads that want that kind of money ...i wouldnt pay that money for a pup out of any dog on this site. ok for get the matchin for money what about folk who just want decent bred animals were they do what they do with out being in the lime light and dont give f..k if dog men not heard of em. but got decen

i can asure you ive ant.ive had terriers gifted in the past thro trust and aggrement now if your not luckly anuf you got to put ya hand in the pocket what would you do paid 100/200/300 quid out of the paper to some one and take a chance. or you got the oppertune to av one where you can see 15/20 years of diggin dogs in a line but they come with a price not sayin the one out the paper wont work where would lay your money if you add too ....

talkin to me mate other day about puttin prices on good diggin lines for instant hes just add a litter he gave the pups to diggin friends on condision they come back or in the ground if not up to the job . i said why wouldnt diggin men pay 500 for line bred diggin dogs cos they pay it for fen dogs...... just a fought

and that an,t a greyhound pug ethier Whats a greyhound ferret to you? about a fiver haha the greyhound ferrets i add was long body with a bullet type heads with ears like a mouse. very active always on the go and was as quick as a polecat in a earth and didnt av that russion/blue colouring in there coat. if any it was yellowish in the legs that 30 years ago normal whites was to slow for my likin ole plodders. that why they were called greyhounds fast like polecats Brilliant mate, It's exactly how i would have described them, apart from the mouse like ears.
