    Common practice in the greyhound world, 80pecent done via AI, if anyone needs some straws drawing and storing just contact Christine at www.merefieldstud.com in Liverpool, she recently helped a member of THL with a lurches bitch that wouldn't stand. she drew the sperm from stud dog , froze it and AI the bitch at a later date, she had 8 pups, this is a bonus with AI, the chance of pups is 99 percent and the litters are usually large, as for how long we'll she currently has some sperm from a greyhound called Staplers Joe he was a June 93 whelp.     You will see the odd lurcher at B&G Autos because they share the building with a dog parlour, I have a 10 year old wooly bitch from the Nuttal Seagull/nipper line and it goes there for a hair cut twice a year. also within the building are kennells containing around 10 to 15 greyhounds so any such ( nice & hot ) accident would not be good.

    I have lamped Peterle/ Easington / Hawthorn for 30 years and every year up till january it gets heavely lamped, by january the only rabbits left are athletes and you have to work at it to get half a dozen runs, most of the fly by night and part time hunters give up, and them that buy a different dog every season find out in the dead of winter why it was for sale. yours in sport........T1

    He is sired by the No1 stud dog 'Wor John' out of a very good greyhound bitch that ran at Pelaw called 'Florence',I have raced greyhounds all my life and been to many Derbys and he is the fasted pound for pound dog I have ever seen, he regularly clocked around the 14.00 dead mark at Easington ( this would win greyhound opens), and broke the clock at Highgate twice in the same day.He is the type of dog that will get injuries because of his pure pace & speed, a common saying in the greyhound world 'slow dogs don't get injuries' and this is true.
