just let mine do a bit of cover gets them keen and fit just no where near any burrows and running them with hounds behind a car is a good way terriers ar well able for all kinds of fitness.... all the best

Tockers!!! They're called mongrels mate & only a complete Numpty would pay £120 for one. If they get the WORSE traits from both breeds what use are they? Takes some saying in that fella right show me you PB dog that works the lamp or in ground like any cross bred would the best dog of them all is one that has plenty in it as it will pick up from a few sides...... I had a bitch she was terrier cross springer what a bitch to do cover and iv heard of the same as her selling for more then 400 and upwards ... I have no doubt they will make good dogs for cover ..

Leave a pup be a pup and if you have dogs that will be self entering dogs thats more luck on your side but they need to go out on a few digs to get into the swing of things of course when older...Get out to a spot with a bit of cover over run with rabbits and see if they will use there nose and they can do cover at this age because them pet rabbits ar no good chalenge for a terrier as you said yourself they dont run as there pets or once where the wild rabbits wont stand around waiting to be caught.
