Why hibiscrub and garlic follow link
interesting reading , but as i said " not sure if it helps but it cant do any harm" and your article also states " The potential benefits deserve to be investigated, but they are mostly theoretical and unproven. "

i have used the ortovox collar paired with an old pieps 457 box(analogue) , it works ok but not a patch on the bellman collar with a barryvox box . the ortovox is limited in its use as the newer digital boxes will struggle to recognise the sender(ortovoxes d3 will pick it up) due to the timing of the signal , ortovox didnt design it for terrier use .even though the frequency is 457 the same as all the avalanche equiptment the signal is sent at a different time setting so that it could be differentiated between a buried human and a dog , to save digging to an avalanche buried dog when the priority should be the human . when i upgraded my box to the pulse(digital) it would not pick up the ortovox until i fooled it into working by turning the pieps 457 to send then turning it off , only then would the pulse pick it up . i contacted ortovox as i thought the collar was up it and they explained why. hope this makes sense and helps with your decision

Mine is doing the same thing its meant to be a saluki trait, keep your cool and dont give up hope
i have a sal/bul/grey x sal and have had the same issues , patients and calmness is the key . no work just wait for the phase to pass , i found completely ignoring the dog got her interest . i think she maybe though she was in charge and by following/chasing and trying to catch her up was me approaching her and being subordinate , so i just gave up and thought bollocks to this and left her to it , her attitude to me changed and alls much better now (about 11mths at the moment) . skycat said in a previous article that most have a f##k you stage around the 7-12 mth age . good luck

had the is elk trackers for the last 8 years (2 pairs) , found them comfortable and waterproof from day one . but they did need looking after and im not a regular oiler and polisher , and the inevitable happens to the leather . ive gone over to black islander diottos with the protective outer coating , hopefully they will do better in the brambles . but the elk trackers are by far the more comfortable and i still go back to the old pair when idont need the toughness .

i can vouch for smoothdog , i had a bang on little bitch from him well bred and coming on well . and the price is great for proper working stock , just `check out the rubbish on preloved etc for £250.
