  1. Anytime . Thanks again. Nice to have straightforward sales from genuine forum members !
  2. FI've had a look through the xd 75 a couple of times courtesy of another member and it's a Fantastic bit of kit. Lately I've been spotting with the xd50s and have been experimenting with different nv scopes on top , including the photon, digisight lrf 870 and drone. To be honest you will have no problem using the likes of a photon to shoot with after spotting with the thermal. Sometimes as you know your spot a rabbit with thermal but when you look through the digital nv it shows that the rabbit is actually covered by stringy branches, or its in the middle of the hedge and not where first th

Batter pack is the culling 12v 17 ah with green canvas carry case. Comes with a trickle charger I bought separately and selection of spare fittings and fuses etc. The battery's not in bad Nick. It's always been trickle charged so it's got life left in it and the lamps been resoldered at the bullet connector but all in working order. Originally these lamps were 90.00. They've been discontinued by Deben. £50.00 The batter

  11. Tried a wildcat whisper .17 baffles on mine recently. Definately a bit more muffled than the sak but guess what......... Still a sonic crack. Unless someone creates a subsonic .17 hmr bullet I reckon a definitive answer will be hard to come by. I had a Logan decimater in past and it was definately quieter than the sak but it still went crack when the round left barrel. Put a .17 baffle stack on a large baffled centre fire mod and put it on hmr and it still goes ...... Crack ! Also to consider is the sound when heard from different angles. My mate had a hardy sound mod on his .223 and

  17. There's a few people on here that have had all the chew in the past, been through it all and got a selection of t shirts. There are some new to shooting who read a lot on the Internet and know home office guidelines by heart. If the licensing authorities / forces paid as much attention to them as some on the site then the world be a less complicated place. Let people listen to who they choose. In my experience I tend to take heed from experienced shooters who know what they're talking about rather than quoting bull shit guidelines from a pdf sheet.:
  18. I can. My .22 rimfire has had fox written next to it since I requested it. It's all down to individual licensing departments and individual requirements. Big can of worms but most forces now provide AOLQ which gives the cert holder the privelage of being able to use their own discretion and common sense when choosing if a particular quarry is suitable for the calibre in question in the situation . Just a quick edit that some forces won't class fox as vermin and some will in reply to the above post .
  19. Fair point there David. Far too many threads get taken of course when foxes and rimfire a are mentioned so il not go down that route. I've seen it way too many times over the last 8 years ! ( I've shot lots with rimfire so I'm not here to preach or condem ) Enjoy the hmr when it comes. I much prefer the .22 lr but there are times when the hmr does have its advantages. Happy hunting
  20. I personally really dislike the action on the t bolts. I find you loose your sight picture when cycling , and end up pulling and pushing the whole rifle on roof of truck . Cycling the action makes a racket I also found as you can't work the action slowly as with a normal bolt. The triggers aren't easily adjustable to a light pull, very creepy and just not nice in general. I do however like the magazine system as its flush fitting and never had any issues with jams. I've not used the wood stock version but the plastic stocked models felt like something you'd buy from toys are us . I haven't t
