have a butchers knife sean,the blade is fine for cuting fillets but hiting bone and the stuff i do might be a little too harsh for them to last long. -

if im honest mate midnights mk2 fieldcrafter is the best knife for the price ive ever seen or owned the mk1 was good but these are something else any link to it paulus,saves me browsing,lol lazy cnut i am.

the one thing i cant understand is the fascination some folk have with the victorinox type knives.I just find them pointless(if you pardon the pun )looking on the knife forums folk go mental over them.........very strange indeed,lol

now as I said I could be way off the mark and it may be antis,just the fact the tails are gone made me think of that.I think almost all gun clubs would never engage in that behavour anyway,but I know some members have done in the past.

just looking through the sites and the unfortunate thing is,the shiping costs more than the flipin knives and if the customs and excise spot it,I may then be paying import duty too,I bought from cabellas a few years back and it cost me 3 times the price of the item origionally. http://www.knivesplus.com/kabarknifeka-1236.html this is a nice knife even though the handels a bit dull. you know what.........im puzzled as to what i like now theres so many. might give midnight a pm and see how busy he is.the real story is........its my 50 th birthday next month and i can look for a decent press

lab their tails are all taken,which points me in the direction of a gun club cull,the most, tails at the end of season, the chance of 1st prize and the reputation that goes with it.defo hunting folk unfortunately on this one............but id love to be wrong.its a known pastime amongst gun clubs,a competition for the members and an incentive to shoot as many foxes as possible.Of course not all clubs rn this but i know lads that had bag loads of tails saved up for just this reason.

and in parts by me,feck all to run,got a young dog for this season,reared him from a pup,hes had 2 decent runs since I started in october.I gave the ferrets to a young lad and am parting with the hutches next week.thank god for the goats,lol.

I have a 4 inch blade on my knife bit its a bit short on the goats when I need to neck them,My sharpening skills are woefull,even after watching videos,buying a watersone I still cant get it sharp sharp,i try the sliceing paper test...........never works,lol.cleanspade are they ka bar oldtimers? ratreeper Ive found when dealing with some of the billys the blade is just a tad short and trying to cut through the beard/long hair a stronger wider blade would help.I have a jes knife that is serving me well too,thinking of trying a longer blade as I think it would be of benefit..

I think hunting needs to go back to basics and teach the up and coming young folk to have respect for their quarry,event though their dead they should still show some respect after the act.The general public will come to the conclusion that we are all like this,no chance of self policing i suppose?
