  7. same here,kelpie x ,shes retrieving to hand,never runs in after the shot.ive shot 52 rabbits with the 22 and she retrieved 40 odd of them,sits watching while they roll about after being shot.wont go till told,up over fences and will find rabbits that have crawled into cover after being shot.pheasants,not a bother with the shotgun,tracks deer,goats,hunts light cover and flushes to an extent,but not brilliant at that.

  17. great to hear rebel,all I want is a good home for them,and a good home is what she got.we'll walk out together in the future when their old enough for fun times,practice with the camera though,shes a lot prettier than her photo there lol.

I have a few saluki lurchers and a saluki full bred bitch and I have to say they are as obedient as my kelpie x.Ive never had an issue with them,easy going and does what their told.I have a pup of 8 weeks old here from the both of them and I cant wait to get him reared.Im looking forward to the summer and bringing him out and about and on to become another grand little dog.Ive never actually trained him to do anything except jump stuff,hes just gone and sorted all the other things himself.I read the comments about recall and stubborness and either im a genius with the dogs(not a chance of tha

    mine are in the oak whiskey barrels at the minute,plenty of room and very warm too.full of straw and too thick to chew.just thought these looked a handy job,but maybe in warmer climates.

    what about if you packed around the sides with insulation??I think its a neat looking job,might talk to a chippy friend of mine and ask what it might cost to knock together.
