I be trying a pair next time round. Heard too many good reviews to ignore em, an most from guys who on there feet all day
You won’t go wrong with them, comfortable, hard wearing, and relatively low maintenance,

Dedito boots are the boots of choice for me

If you keep a good number of Jill’s I would definitely recommend a snipped hob, they save all the hassle of getting the Jill’s brought out of season every spring, and any unnecessary bred kits,

I’m very much a Jill man, I like nice strong Jill’s, I do have the odd hob in my team, but only use them sparingly,

We keep 3 Jill's and a job here, and as the time of year it is the Jill's are in full heat, and we've the job in a different section of the yard in a separate cage, but fuk me the poor b*****d is demented,he's slowly dismantling the cage front,...he was booked in for the snip last week but we all got COVID so it's been postponed till next week, and then it takes 2 weeks before he's ready to be let loose on the ladies,it can't happen soon enough, the noise of him rattling and pulling on the cage is never ending,he's frustrated the poor fecker,is there anything that can relax him,....I expect not
I keep my vasectomised hob in with the Jill’s all year round, he doesn’t bother them that much to be honest, when he’s done a cage full I move him down into the next cage, where as hobs that are housed separately seem more manic if that makes sence

£400 a working mans price ?
Times have changed.
Working bred pups went to working dog men for free, or a price that would cover the breeding and leave a bit for the breeder to have a pint or two.
Dont get me wrong, it's a sellers market, and I don't begrudge lads making a bit on selling pups, if it was what I wanted, price wouldn't enter the equation !
My last two dogs, a teckel and a deer/grey, were gifted, because the breeders knew they'd be worked, but I'd have gladly paid the asking price.
But I still feel a little uneasy about "working mans price".
Just my opinion.
Cheers.
In todays market we’re shit bred pups bringing upwards of £2000 I think £400 is a great price

Well done to you all ,if I take 4/5 coney in morning I'm lucky as no numbers local ,was you working hobs or Jill's.
Atb
I had a team of 4 jills out, the other lads had mixed teams of hobs and jills, I find the hobs are abit overkill for this earlie in the season, Il use my jills til about November/December then switch to a team af 3 hobs

You couldn’t make this up, did reading a few books or research on the internet not seem a good idea before getting ferrets??? Unbelievable!
